This is for you Tangerine lovers, LOL....she's a bad ass girl. She's taking a high dosage of nutes compare to the other plants. I had to cut the top to slow her down so the other plants can catch up. She's currently taking 850 ppm, 200 ppm more than the other plants. Her color is much nicer under the sun than in the picture. I can't wait until she starts flowering.

I can't fucking wait to see what these girls look like after they are hit with 12/12 and all that light!!!

HUGE comeback on both of those clones!!

...will you be using two 600w HPS for flower?

Thanks man....For the top Hotilux 600W and for the side Sunmaster Cool Deluxe 600W.

I hated my tangerine dreams. Took 14 weeks flower and 4 outa 5 ended up with low yields. Good luck on yours, hope barney got the kinks out. Im subbed bc I'm waiting to see that #18. I want some so bad but every time I check attitude they are out of stock. You lucky duck. Looking good.

 They should love that supplemental side lighting!!

I've been thinking about hanging another light like how you have, but I only have thousand-watters. I'm trying to decide if I can justify another $70/month on my power bill or would it be worth the return to fork out the money for a 400w or 600w ballast and bulb instead (and paying an extra $30-$40/month)...or doing without, which I would rather not do lol...

I've gotta Big Bud that reminds me a lot of how your plants looked 2 or 3 weeks ago...I'm very proud of it LOL :-P:lol:

Nice, very nice...that's a beautiful plant. R u using coco?
To grow healthy juicy buds 10,000 lumens/sqf is needed. My 600W produces 88,000 lumens so for one foot away from the light the lumens drop to 44,000, 2 feet 22,000 and 3 feet about 10,000 lumens. So u need to do some calculations to see by adding another light how much lumens are adding to your desired area. More lumens produce more frostier and denser buds.

  • Good stuff...The relationship between light(point source/bulb) and distance are defined by the inverse square law. This law affirms that the intensity of light changes in inverse proportion to the square of the distance.I=L/D2
Example: say ur 600W bulb produces 90,000 lumens. So if you wanna figure out where ur lemuns will be 2 feet from the plant and 3 feet.here's how I figure outfor 2 feet take the 90,000 divided by square 2 which is 4 the answer:22,500 lumens3 feet away, again 90,000 divided by square 3 which is 9. answer: 10,000and so forth. With this formula u can figure out how much coverage u are getting for ur plants.

Hey z, thanks for the formula...I just started doing a little math.

I think you meant to say the square of the distance (you did in the beginning), instead the square root... (like in the example)
:eyesmoke:lol

The square root of 2 is a long decimal 1.414...

The square (x[SUP]2[/SUP])of 2 (2[SUP]2[/SUP])=4.

I don't mean to sound like a smartass lol, just wanted to clarify in case someone else was to run into this and not understand...:-P:-P
