..now I'm using a screw (yes a real, what looks to be metal or stainless steel, screw.)

Anyone know of anything easier than going back to ALT and ordering one?

let me guess, your nail popped. thats why the only way to go is ti. some people like quartz but i dont like the way it holds heat and after time it is still prone to popping. i would only use TI.

I can't afford a titanium nail.. but I guess next next break I won't have much of a choice unless I want to keep wasting funds on nails.

coulda also been too quick of a heat transfer. glass does not like to be cooled down very quickly or heated up quickly. i learned this with a wand a long time ago. i put a hot wand in some water and it shattered immediately, i have never heated glass since.

Yeah.. solo dabathons.. lol nice..

I think it had something to do with me flinging it across the room.. maybe.. a lil..
