oil or butter saturation point

I have way more weed and trim than I do butter or oil. Whats the saturation point? How would you know?

say I take a gallon of water, a pound of weed and a tablespoon of butter, would i be leaving thc in the mash? how about a stick of butter? A pound of butter?

I just ran a batch of 4 pounds of butter and probably a 1/2 pound or more of crappy weed. Its in the fridge now. But at this rate Ill never get rid of all this trim.

I've never met anyone who runs mass amounts in butter like that.. reduce all trim or bud to hash oil, no water with the butter. Slowly add hash oil till you feel its proper potency. Butter absorbs roughly 70% (pretty sure) of its volume in cannabinoids. Solubility though is largely effected by temperature, I would have to assume when you chill the butter some may precipitate... what most do who want the most potent product is dissolve hash oil in the butter or my preference coconut oil. You can add till no more dissolves...or keep adding if you want lol, it might not disperse evenly in your baked good, but it will get you high

yea hashoil would be better but Im not willing to invest in all it takes to make it. Im just trying to get rid of trim.
