Oil smoke healthier than smoking bud??

So Im kinda new to smoking oil and i was wondering if its better on the lungs than
smoking it in flower form? I heard its just the vapors you inhale when you torch it.
Also oil wax shatter do those have any trace of butane in them or is it extracted first?.

Healthier? - No.
Not as bad? - Yes.

As far as I know, vaping is the cleanest way to smoke.
