Hey guys. I live at 49° latitude in central Canada. I am a medical patient and use astronomically high amounts of Cannabis to manage my symptoms. My partner also has similarly high needs. We are lisenced for 48 outdoor plants.

I've chosen some beanhoarder seeds this year bred to hopefully finish here

I'm expecting a hunt, and that this year won't be perfect.

I'm popping 60 Big Freeze
100 Big Green God x Big aFreeze
100 Durban x Big Freeze

Beanhoarder seeds.

We will also be doing 244 plants in a greenhouse.

I have a pre 98 SSH that finishes early enough to do her here with my circumstances. I can heat the greenhouse with the indoor light cooled exhaust. Beautiful extremely resistant heavy fruiting lovely cut of it.

I fully intend to never have a meds shortage so if this year goes well I won't be growing using lights any more

I'll do pics as best I can all along the way. IMG_20210204_203648.jpg

I'll show some of the ssh in various stages of indoor then as it grows in the greenhouse.

Difficulties learning to overcome.

Hemp pollen is a possibility. An entire sq mile of it is about 12 miles south east.

I understand i may lose the outdoor, but plan on lowering the chances as best as possible. I'll watch the crop to see when it spews.. planning possitive filtered air flow into the greenhouse.

Given the amount of heat I shed from the indoor, the greenhouse won't freeze if I don't want it to until -25.

I am also for fun running one of each of the following to test how it does here.

Forum Cut of GSC
Gg4
wedding cake - jbeezy cut
Mendo Breath - insane cut. Never ever seen another plant produce quads en masse like this girl
Acdc
Pineapple Express
A random cut called mango that may also finish here outdoors

Strawberry Lemonaide from Barneys

My goal is to find strains that will finish without light manipulation here.

I aim to put 0 chems into any of it.

I will sex seeds and post the numbers of what's left in a lbout 6 weeks.

If I don't end up with 48 or we decide to change the lisenced to full outdoor I may add in another 50 autoflowers.

Likely mephisto if I can find a fast one.

I intend to find a female to reverse and.breed with the other cuts. Selected for fast finish and mold/bug resistance.

All I can say is good luck. You have quite a bit of work ahead. That's a lot of plants. I wish you the best. But if you're determined to succeed you will. :weed:

I worked here last year, it was kinda fucked but 8000 seeds popped. I actually bailed as the entire environment was dangerous and diseased. Long story, no hard feelings.

49 sounds like a vacation. I guess we will see. I do intend to work hard. Also where I live plants don't get that big. I'm assuming 4-8' tall plants max. I'm assuming 60hrs of hard work a week from April to October plus extra hands for harvest.

I'll likely trim and defoliate/LST heavily.

I'm thinking 50 gallon pots in coco. I'll post up what I'm doing to hopefully be saved from any obvious mistakes.

So this is by far the worst germ rate I've had. I usually use rapid rooters, but I get 98% germ with Jiffy pellets. Apparently they changed the content of the pellets and are now trash.

So far 150 girls up and into canna coco and beer cups with 2" of perlite on the bottom with drain holes cut.

I may end up doing 98 outdoors depending how many more come up.

Pics when in cups and organized.

Good luck with your grow.

Be careful with the light schedule on the freeze plants. Some of 'em can get weird if there's a sudden change in the light schedule.
Grew some outside way back when that were prone to jumping into flower too early if you weren't careful on transitioning them from inside veg to outdoors.

Norther lights do well further north than you. Also heard greenhouse seeds the church is pm tolerant. For outdoor i start at 16-8 and go down to 14.5 before may 20 when they go out. Lower half hour every 2 weeks, works for me, never preflower unless unstable

I'm looking to design a greenhouse for northern climate, if you decide to expand message me, should be able to pull off another crop over winter or grow food year round. Working on plan for years, think I got it figured out now.

Just an update. Never had so much trouble with seeds before. Didn't notice that the Jiffy pellets have gone to shit. I'll be lucky to get 50 of them female. Next time buying the fancy GH plugs.

Ill hope for 60-40 in your favour. 50-50 is par for regs
I've been growing indoors for a long ass time exactly the same way starting seeds and only thing that changed is the pellets. I noticed they seemed different but didn't account for how extra soggy they stayed.

I will likely not bother switching the lisence to outdoor but instead build a 40x80 GH and attach it to my barn that I already grow in.

I also did some further research in the area with the agriculture branch of the gov and I'm in a highly hemp populated area :(.

I'll update as I go through but I suppose this thread needs to be restarted or renamed.

Beautiful, id dig my greenhouse in ground, below frost line, add some lights and all long strains could end life there as snow flies.

Ok so this ended up being a bust basically. Not sure what happened with these seeds, I think I got screwed by greed lol. Jiffy pellets were hot, canna coco ph'd at @>8. Both solid products for years. Guess I can't assume anything. I think if I had babied them and used rapid rooters and ph'd media I would have had a normal success rate. My bad.

I'm left with 50~ total, huge variance in size and appearance. After flushing with ph',d nutrient at 500ppm until run off was 6.2 and a bit of gentle foliar love they are throwing a new leaf set once a day finally

Going to start feeding and hid lighting today and likely flower them indoors packed tight and pick a mom to reverse and clone. This is honestly my worst failure as a grower yet lol.

Lucky for me I got a report of what my GG4 cut does outdoor and she finishes here in a greenhouse.

I'll do some progress and reports on the strains once they are healthy.
