Hi Tjblack!
Take 2 additional Vero18 and go with 7 on each driver. Thats the cheapest way IMO.
Some brief calculations.
A V18@700mA needs 28,35v x 7pcs. = 198,45v x 700mA = 139w x 42% eff. = 58,35PAR/w x 4,88μMol/s(4.000k) = 285μMol/s/m² :1,44m² = 198μMol/s/1,44m² from each driver..
With 6 Vero18 and this driver you get 119w an ø 50PAR/ww = 244μMol/s/m² = 169,5μMol/s/1,44m².
If you go with new 1050mA HLG-driver..
5x 29,5v = 147,5v x 1050mA = 154,9w x 40% eff. = 61,95PAR/w = 302μMol/s/m² : 1,44m² = ø210μMol/s/1,44m².
That meens, if you go with the parts you have the 2 drivers will give you ø340 additional μMol/s/1,44m² to your Area51 units.
If you buy 2 Vero18 you can increase it to 396 additional μMol/s/1,44m² and
if you go the expensive way and buy 2 HLG-120H-C1050 you can increase it to 420, but you will have 2 Vero18 left.
With 2 HLG-185H-C1050 and 2x6V18 =512μMol/s/1,44m².
The 2 Area51 @2,1A will give you 308μMol/s/m² and 215μΜol/s/1,44m².
So with 12 V18 @700mA = 555μΜol/s/1,44m²
With 14 V18 @700mA = 611μΜol/s/1,44m²(my favorit)
With 10 V18 @1050mA = 635μΜol/s/1,44m²
With 12 V18 @1050mA = 727μMol/s/1,44m²
Hope that helps a bit choosing the next steps!
