Ok now; here we fucking GO! Day ONE!

Dear Roll-it-Up;

It has begun! I've decided to drop my panties and pop my green cherry! I'm a newbie to this growing culture and i invite you to see me lose my virginity. Here is a link on my grow room, specifications and pictures: https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/622783-95-ready-first-time-grow.html

day one:

So i started off with a 1 gallon of Reverse Osmosis Filtered Water with a pH of 6.9. When i added my Roots Organics nutrients: Buddha Grow, Trinity and Ancient Amber, at 5ml each, it dropped down to a pH 4.1-2. Then i added 5ml of Advanced Nutrients pure concentrate pH UP. Bad idea! I underestimated its pure concentrate content and the pH shot all the way up to 12.3! So for the next 10min a played around with up and down til i got to 6.49-50.

I then soaked my Rapid Rooters (derived from naturally composted tree bark) and soaked them in my nutrient mixed water with the pH of 6.49-50. From there, i finally opened up my seeds (bought from The Attitude Seed Bank in England) and placed 5 of them into each Rapid Rooter. 3x Top Skunk 44, 1x White Widow, and 1x Lemon Thai Kush. I placed them on a plastic tray and added about .25 inch of nutrient mixed water inside the tray as well.

i turned up my space heater to pump up the temperature to 80f (my growing closet stands at a natural 70-73f without anything on.)

so there ya' go.

Day one. Hopefully it works out.

Please, any constructive criticism and/or questions will be helpful. Here are some pics.

Mr. Waterstone.

Gonna try not to be a huge dick here, but you really should have read some shit before you popped those seeds you spent your wad on. I would def not have added nutes yet even if they are organic. Anything you read will tell you to germ in just regular water (tap or RO whichever you prefer).
After writing this I checked the first post of your other thread since it had a lil more info about your setup. You got a legit start there, better than what most people choose to go with their first time. That said I still think it is no good to try and germ in that water, especially since while you ph'd it the ppm could be really high.
That is whack they did not sell you the calibration solution with your meter, they did the same thing to me when I bought a Hanna, I hated that meter because of the reasons you stated and bought a Milwaukee and have not looked back... Might want to look into their temp,ph,ppm meter if you are looking to upgrade from that stick. It is a lil pricey but you won't regret knowing the temp ph and ppm of your water.

Really dude. You fertilized seeds....you need to read up on alot more before continuing. You dont need fert from seedling to start of veg to say the least......Not trying to be an ass....But read up on basic growing first man.....

Escpecially since I read your other thread through and I do not know much about RO soil but if it is like FFof like people say you got about a 50/50 chance burning them with the soil depending on how finicky the strain is, white widow from what I hear isn't keen on heavy feedings. But there are so many variations of this once great strain we are prob not growing from the same genetics as I hear Nirvana (my seed source) likes to just throw names on seeds, but they still come out dank ass fuck and have no other access to seeds being in a non mmj state. Good luck with it bro, could get some troopers but idk man odds are stacked... All is not lost yet but do not bank on this one to come through, and those tubes will work great with those lights and help to limit stretch so long as you can afford the electric bill that the mh and hps are gonna carry. This can be pretty eye opening when you get that first bill so be prepared and be sitting down cuz the electric company does not use any lube when they fuck you...

Oh man, no nutes until after second set of leaves and even then at half "seedling" dose on the Budda Grow bottle. Take it from someone that uses the Roots Organics Budda Grow, Bloom and organic soil, your seedling cannot handle the nutes. I didn't crack the grow bottle until after a couple weeks of growth in the peat pots. Just plain tap water (that had the chlorine evaporated off for three days), warmth, and light. They DON'T need any food. Glad you posted early so we can help you correct. I suggest you read more "quality" growing information fast.

In addition to what everyone else said... no. ONE seed per cup/rooter/pot/planter/whatever.
I think this was just poor wording on his part and meant to say placed the a seed into EACH rapid rooter not 5 in one, that is a cluster fuck of seeds if that is the situation lol.

The fact that you built this set-up, and take the criticism by some of these people, shows your definitely here to learn, and im sure you will end up with success, maybe not with those seeds, but definitely in the future.
