Congrats on your new life. Green is always a welcome sight. You sound like a excited new grower. I've got no advice other than stick with the basics. Use known methods, mediums, light, and nutrients related to cannabis. This alone will increase your odds of a good crop. You'll find your way and get into a routine. Enjoy the journey.

New to growing Cannabis for sure, and excited doesnt even begin to cover it lol, but not new to growing plants, I have been an avid gardener for over 30 years growing food crops outside and in a tent inside. Even got Goji berrys from Tibet to grow in Ohio. Which was a fun one, but it took over so much it had to be cut down.

Shes too wet mate water or mist the medium slightly less id say if it does that and theres no color change its over watering if the leaves got darker however that make me think too much n as that can do the leaves hook down thing too but as u aint fed it yet it cant be that so yeah lil less water

I have not fed yet, its an inert soil blend coco,peat and vermuclite (coco was triple Buffered with Cal mag and peat was pH adjusted with Lime and gypsum). Only watered with a water and Humic acid blend. pH'ed the water to the proper pH with Distilled White Vinegar. ill let her go a couple days without a drink.

Yeah i didnt think u fed yet Just keep an eye on it when she is drier/ happy the leaves will be standing up more not down and when there that small personally i mist the soil rather than water till there like 5 days or a week old then il start actually watering em as your in hydro so u need to be bit wetter anyway just dont let the medium totally dry out thats a no no in hydro with soil u can get away with it but with coco or soilless mediums they reccomend u dont let it dry completely ul get there just takes lil time to find the right balance man

I have a moisture meter in the soil that tells me when to water, I made the choice for the media im using because it does hold a far bit of water. Peat for example up to 20 times its weight in water coco coir up to 10 times its weight in water and vermiculite can hold 3–4 times its weight in water so im not super concerned about it totally drying out, at least not in 3 or 4 days anyway lol

I prefer dirt just as its easy and holds water good and imo produces the better tasting smoke if i was going hydro id go with coco thats pretty good/easy i suspect you have made it harder for yourself first time round going with a very specific medium mix but you will learn from it alas its a learning curve as you know mate

Yep, so true, every new plant is a new learning curve for sure man!

Looking good. At this point it doesn't need water again for at least several days. Start off just watering around the plant in about a solo cup diameter. In a couple weeks as the plant gets bigger, water more toward the edge of the pot, and less toward the middle to encourage lateral root growth. Same idea for bottom watering. SIP setups have the right idea.
