Ok.Should I keep lightly watering for another week or go ahead and chop these?

I'm growing in a 6 foot tall by 4 foot wide by 2 foot deep cabinet. I have 5 55 watt CFLs and they seem to have done pretty well, the buds aren't huge, but they stink to high heaven and they are sticky as FUUUUUUCK! haha

Should I go ahead and chop em? or wait another week? I've already been flushing for 3 days...So It's no problem to just keep lightly watering them for another 4 or 5 days, right? I can't tell if they are quite ready or not, I live in the boonies and I don't have a debit card...so I can't get a magnifying glass without spending 30 bucks in gas to go find a radio shack.

I used Espoma gerden tone for vegging and Holly tone for flowering, all organic. And I supplemented with bone meal and blood meal as necessary. Just god ole fashioned Mid west soil, no pearlite or vermiculite. although my new clones have both in the soil this time...I'm thinking I'll see a pretty good difference. this is only my 2nd grow...the first one was some doo doo weed because I used miracle grow.

Walmart usually sells cheap jewelers loupes , but since you have no glass to look I'd give it a water let it dry for three days, throw it in the dark for three more days with no water and then chop

Nice looking buds for a CFL grow. I would say by the pics another week or even two left too go. Does not look like the calyxes have begun to swell and the hairs do not seem to be receding into them yet. As mentioned looking at the trichs under the scope is the only way to be sure.

If those are recent pics and I can see them better you got a minimum of two weeks left I'd prolly go three tho. Shoot to chop on the first

It looks like you have about 10 days or so before the big chop. No need to flush with organics, just plain water for the last 2 weeks.

anywhere from 12-18 days, guesstimate. its really up to the plant(s). some ripen drastically over a couple of days. get a loupe and eyeball the trichs, startin now, and occasionally check them. good practice for a good skill to have.

Yeah, they actually fattened up a lot over night last night. I'm glad I decided to wait... I think they're going to really juice up in the next 6 days. My problem is that I leave for Vacation on the 18th of this month, so I was hoping to have them chopped by then. Maybe I'll just see if my buddy will water them for me while I'm gone and I'll chop em on the first.

I have a sativa dominant of the same strain, it looks like, and it's still got at LEAST another 6 weeks...it's just now starting to get to the point of the pre-buds on the bigger plant. Anyway, thanks for the help gents, I'll make sure to rep you all

Yep the window is open for harvest. Maybe now or possibly a few weeks. Great job for a second grow! Especially with cfls. Dont want to harvest early. Most often made mistake...so maybe harvest just a branch or a top or two. You gotta find your gardens groove. And your off too a nice start. Epsoma products are sweet. They are my gardens base food source. Its pretty damn complete. Even contains a great array of beneficials....

Alright, I ended up getting 33 grams dried off the first plant. I was pleasantly surprised how dense the nugs at the bottom of the plant were. She's curing right now and it is stinkin' up my WHOLE damn house., I'll post some pics tomorrow when I can find the time. The sativa dominant is coming along nicely, has a blue/teal tint to it and it smells WAY sweeter than the other plant I just harvested. Gotta admit, I'm pretty pumped, and Im even more pumped that I have 4 clones of each plant...GOing to double my weight next harvest...I feel like i'm doing too much work for not enough reward haha.

anyway, thanks again gents, stick around for pics

haha its like the hardest thing to deal with... drives me crazy. only advice id give is maybe wait a little longer feed it some mollasses i actually did that for first time side by side with the same strain and it tasted better n was noticably stickier. maybe a dark period before u chop but they look nice!

Cool. I was thinking the same...I think I'm just a little bitch about deciding when to chop...haha I'm always thinking I could wait another day and get another gram haha
