Dude fish take craps where ever they feel like inside that tank. Put yourself in your plants shoes. Do you prefer fish tank water or purified clean fresh ph balanced water? The only thing you can for sure use that is good for your plant is rain water. It contains high levels of nitrogen wich will make your plant grow faster & healthier.

HAHA not to be the one to ruin your thought, but where do you think bat guano comes from? (bats shit wherever they want and it makes one of the best organic fertilizers) How about worms and worm castings..............you might want to rethink what you said.

Get a setup where you harvest rain water in a barrel and also keep some fish in the barrel to control algae. Most of the barrels have a spout so that the fish nutrient rich water that settles to the bottom can be used to water your plants. I have seen a couple of setups like this in operation. The number and size of the fish will determine the nutrient content of the water otherwise rain water by itself should be low in ppm and neutral in ph so that the nutrients you add are the only ones in the soup mix.

I said I was sorry for the out lash & every1 was grown enough to forgive my mistake & let it go. There's plenty of people that have never heard of the fish water technique. Is it necessary to lash out like you did? He doesn't have to take my advice all the other fellow grows can correct me like they did. Be cool man people fuck up & no1 knows everything. A wise man knows he has much he hasn't learned.

(gonna ignore the drama here)

100 gallons? SHIT, that's big. What do got in there, man? Giant squid?? ;)

Honestly, that's a truly brilliant idea that I really wish I'd thought of. Having kept my fair share of fish, I'd think you could maybe just use your filter to pump your water for the changes somehow.. maybe a nice big tube into the bucket and actually save some of that water, too!

Rep to you, noob.

Than leave. You were never missed...

Anyways, i got excited for a minute since i have a reef tank. But yeah the salt and parameters of the water would probably take out a crop in a day.
