I have a couple of plants that stretched a lot during flowering. Blue Cheese at around day 55 of flowering. Side branches are looong and not able to support tip weight. Pistils on side branches are mostly brown. Main colas look to have a few weeks left. Will it hurt main cola development if I cut some of the ide branches now?

Thanks,

Well i did the opposite with my last harvest.. waited till the tops where done , harvested first the 2 colas and left the popcorn to build up for a week and then put my whole plant under 48 hours of darkness,, worked just fine, got some frosty fluffy popcorn..

dude dont listen to these guys YES you can, one of my plants i half harvested because another nearby spot got compromised harvested half of plant early into flower just so i would get something came back 4 weeks later to a plant stil budding and alot bigger sticky nugs!!!!!!!!! it is possible dude, look into rejuvenation growing,.... when you harvest leave some plant matter on the plant like leave a few fan leaves and maybe some small pop corn buds come back like a month later just as the snow starts flyin and there will most likely be buds grown back on it..... a plant can be harvested and re vegged... my friends mom has a plant shes been doing it to for the last four years... winter inside, summer outside harvest, repeat, same plant
