Ok to "not" support our troops?

A .357 defies that logic ... cn
the .357 is the deadliest handgun round ever made according to FBI stats
I agree
but when you go with the others
not so much
This bullet went thru the drivers side window
The triple stitching on my carhart jacket
bounced off my rib
and fell onto the drivers seat
.32 caliber.jpg

That was at a range of about a foot out of a 4-6 inch revolver

I think I got to the point where I cant stand this "you have show respect for our troops" moto. Says who?

"Oh, they are fighting a war for your freedom". Are they really?

While I would love to go into a big "Iraq/Afgan" war rant, I just want to vent a little and say "fuck our troops". Actually im going to put it on one of those stupid ribbons for the back of my car that says that.

"You cant do that, you'll get shot" Really? Now I have to worry about my freedom of speech from my own people? Why do I have to be fearful to disagree on this issue?

Also all the people that I know that are "troops" joined because they needed money or education. Not the selfless act of "fighting for our freedom".

So yeah, I'm not scared anymore, fuck our troops and fuck these useless wars.
Hea shit head go to iran and support them bastard. Fuck anybody that don't love the USA and her troops. Get the fuck out of my country.

This troop said "fuck the military".

That criminal admitted criminal wrongdoing under arms. he should be up for court martial not basking in the glow of democracy now!'s hideous chud gloria ironbox.

that you lionize such a piece of garbage indicates that you too are most likely a piece of garbage. that bastard is either a liar or a confessed murderer, and not a "troop" you dingbat.

Yeah I don't think Chesus understands that a .357 mag has twice the power of a .45, it has more stopping power than a .44 mag. 98% of people who get shot a single time by a .357 are laying on the ground incapacitated or dead.

Even a .22 will fuck you up though if it is well aimed.

Yea it's not always the caliber that matters. It is the round as a whole. I can throw a .45 bullet at you an it won't do shit. You can have a smaller caliber with more gunpowder do way more damage. So you can't just judge things on caliber alone

That's nice. It's time for people like you to realize that just because everyone else didn't drink the kool-aid doesn't mean we should pity you for joining the military cult.
I dont think you should pity me but i do think your chances of survival are less than mine in anything other than a cozy urban environment, it doesnt mean you have to be a dick, but you are so your probably going to run your mouth to the wrong person and your going te get the living shit beaten out of you, and you will know in your heart you had it coming, and totally deserved it. i believe you deserve a beating unlike anything ive ever seen, and id pay good money to watch it. then id spit on your broken face.

a makarov? please.

unless its made in Czechoslovakia they are junk. you would get bettter service from a 9mm browning hi-power.
you would be surprised, I hated my barretta m9 and carried a makarov in my pocket in iraq, ive always found it to be a very good weapon, and as far as cz52's lol fuck the big bulky but decently firing ugly as fuck handgun. czechs never made an actual makarov, do your homework the cz 82 is a knock off and you dont have a clue what your talking about.

a piece of hot metal flying through ones skull is all you need, caliber doesnt mean a fucking thing, you can shoot someone with a 44 mag but how many can you shoot before your hand cant hold the pistol steady anylonger? its all about the size of your hand, how much impact you want prolonged exposure to, and how comfortable you are with the gun, not a single one of you seem to have basic NRA knowledge, and you own guns? go america for arming idiots! handguns are meant for 6-15 feet, up close, so caliber and distance traveled mean relatively nothing, take down power is a different thing all together, a 9x18mak with hollow points has the take down power of a 40fmj ammo is just as much of the equation as the handgun, and that should have just been common sense wtf? any responsible person uses magsafe anyhow and id bet most of you dont even know what that is. this entire thread is pointless, and someone should close it.

Last time I checked we where talking about fighting off an invading army. That means they will have some type of bodyarmour . Yes a hit in the eye will take anyone out even with a .22. But under stressfully conditions research shows people always aim center mass. That's why we still have small vests at center mass for the normal body armor.

true, but im afraid if you have an invading army and your holding only a handgun your best bet is hiding and never using it, that will only give away your position. a decent assault rifle, shotgun, or long range rifle with a well sighted in scope are the only things that will do any good and even then only for a little while. without organization, and a supply line of bullets food, and water no resistance will last for long. point being a handgun is called a side arm for a reason, its your secondary and for up close and personal. buy and sksor, an ak47 or a bushmaster or armalite AR type if you can afford it, H&K makes amazing weaponry.

my sources say otherwise. i considered buying a czech made makarov (and it was NOT a cz 82) for my mother. my 65 year old mother decided to use a .357 revolver, rather than a "girly gun".(her words)

makarovs are underpowered cut rate subb-9mm eastern bloc junk, the only good weapons made for the warsaw pact nations were made in czechoslovakia. that you become so abnormally butthurt over your assertion that the cz 82 is a "knockoff" indicates deep seated feelings of inadequacy.

military regulations prohibit the possession and use of non-regulation weapons, so your statement strikes me as munchausian at best.

makarovs suck. the russian 9x18 is weak as water. a makarov stuffed in your pocket is a foolish way to lose a testicle.

eat more fiber and whaatever is blocking up your colon just might loosen up.

Wait...so if I don't support a war on Iran, I need to get out of "your" country?

The tone in your post seems very fearful.

I have quite an extensive collection, but my favorite auto is my SIG Sauer P226 in 9mm, I can usually hit a tennis ball at 75 yards 6 or 7 times out of 10. It is an older German made SIG. 28,000 rounds or so and it hasn't failed to fire ever and only once did it fail to eject at the end of a long string of cheap ammo.
I had a P226 as well, also a German one purchased in '88. I recently sold it. It had an amazingly forgiving chamber ... it would chamber some nasty handloads that had a wrinkled "uncircumcised" look and shoot them happily. Accuracy in that gun was good but never tops. I would love a gun that handles and shoots .45 like a 1911 and is as easy to strip and reassemble as that Sig-Sauer. I tried a buddy's big Glock, and that did not handle at all like a 1911. cn

.32 revolver? I don't recall much about them, except that they had essentially rimfire ballistics but without the benefit of sectional density. (Prior to that giant-slayer round, the .32 H&R "Magnum", oh facepalm) That slug probably lost most of its oomph breaking the glass.

That said, i am quite pleased you escaped serious injury. Bet you had a fine bruise though. cn

I have heard of MagSafe; it's an evolution of the principle first fielded as the Glaser Safety Slug. MagSafe uses fewer larger chunks in the matrix.

But seriously, to say I don't have "basic NRA knowledge" is awfully presumptuous of you. cn

Bruise?
It was a giant fucking welt

I know it was a revolver becuase I was looking at the guy who fired it
Interesting thing about Japanese cars
If you are dropping it into drive from park
The transmission will not engage until the revs come down
The guy pointed it at me and it didnt fire. he either didnt know how to work it OR it misfired the first round
he dropped it on me again
Broken glass
Car took off
This all happened in a split second
Yeah i am fucking lucky, and yes the glass took most of the energy from that round
