I didn't get much interest in my state forum on these.
I'm looking to grow some autos in my "mother keeper" tent from htgsupply.
this is the bulb set up, will this work? I'm not sure about what spectrums you run on autos, I'd rather not have to change the bulbs..so i was going to run 2 and 2? and how much time on?

4 Foot 4 Lamp High Output T5 Fluorescent Grow Light
I have 4 GROW SPECTRUM 5400K Fluorescent Bulbs
I have 4 BLOOM SPECTRUM 3000K

So generally when I veg I use all 4 5400ks, when i switch to flowering i use 4 3000k.

Sooo.. maybe I should run 2 5400ks, and 2 3000ks the whole time? 18/6 or 20/4

anyone have any advice on what seeds to buy? i was looking at nirvina Bubblecous but was told they suck...

Generally red spectrum lighting helps stem and root growth. Blue helps foliage. I have been running a couple red bulbs in my 8 bulb T5 veg setup just for a more rounded spectrum but I haven't collected enough data yet to see if it helps or not. If anything I would run a 3/1 ratio 3 blues/1 red in veg and 3 reds/1 blue in flower.

Light spectrum is the same for autos as is for photo plants, for veg you should do 3:1 ratio, so 3 5400K and 1 3000K and during flowering switch them around 3 3000K and 1 5400K.
You should be fine with either one 18/6 or 20/4 but remember autos need some rest too ;)

As for the seeds you just got to look around and see what suit you the best.

would a hydrofarm 125 watt compact fluro be enough for 1 plant.
I did it on my first grow, I used 125w for one plant (I had one of these above each plant and T5 panel from Home Depot for side lighting)
You just need to swap the bulbs when flower time comes around. From 6500K to 2700K.

But I think it should be fine for your first grow and then later on you can upgrade to some HID lights.
