okay. so my dad picked MORE leaves off of my other plant

he picked some LARGE leaves, 7 fingered, towards the top of my plant. 2 of them, off of the same cola! what the FUCK is his problem, its NOT going to get him high, he fuckin lays it out and dries it and smokes it in a little shitty stone pipe. fucking IDIOT. I HAD 85 GRAMS OF FUCKING DRIED LEAVES NOT TOO LONG AGO. HE DIDNT WANT THEM THEN, but NOW THAT THERES A FUCKING LIVE PLANT HE HAS TO RIP OFF HER FUCKING ARMS. FUCK YOU PA. FUCK YOU

If I took money from my dad he would knock me out and he is 53.

my dad is 63. and had quadruple bypass 3 christmases ago. not to say he couldnt still knock me out, but agility wise, he'd have to catch me first. haha, thats terrible to say, i was scared shitless when he was in surgery. but really, he's fucking with my one and only solace in this world apart from actually smoking it and my girlfriend. he works with computers, maybe I should just get on his comp and start deleting files that i see. you know, important ones. LIKE MY FAN LEAVES.

i think im going to print him something out on the biology of plants and energy transfer. specifically, a diagram of a pot plant with everything labeled. apparently when i tell him anything about it, he still snuffs it off as if i dont know what im talking about. if only he knew about this website

I agree that smoking fan leaves isn't the most effective way to catch a buzz, but if you haven't smoked in a while - you really CAN catch a buzz from fan leaves (if you can get past the super "green" taste and small). Anyway, that being said - Dad is surely unaware that his removal of fan leaves is actually detrimental to your plant. If I were you, I'd explain to him that pulling off the fan leaves reduces the efficiency of photosynthesis (which takes place mainly in the leaves), and this will affect the ability of the plant to produce flowers (the part you're really supposed to smoke). If he can hold off his "jones" for a few more months, he can catch a REAL buzz from the finished product - but if he keeps pulling off leaves, there WILL BE NO finished product.

Kind of like if you eat all the cookie dough while you're mixing it up, there won't be any left to make actual COOKIES.

Id count your blessings your pa lets you grow with no hassle, tell him he can have the leaves when your done or stockpile for him in the future.
