Last op I checked out with the drone was an Asian op… 12 big hoop houses and I only saw like 2-3 people working in whole op. I was flying low and slow, got some good pics, but only made one pass so I didn’t get shot down. What was weird was the time of year, and how many plants they had in different stages... from clones to flowering. Some of these ops are covers for money or human trafficking. so... there's that.

so what do they check?
Man... it's a bunch of bullshit stuff like you report, labels, packaging, methods of compost, waste, etc. You have to keep a waste log of everything you compost, GPS system for delivery logs, a daily contaminate sheet for the grow, mother room, and product storage, tracking, etc. Almost nothing to do with your actual grow.. just the paperwork of the op. Now, if we had a filthy op, Im sure more would have be said. But as far as the grow room. He just stuck his head in there, and said "looks good"... otherwise, we sat in the processing room around a table and went over a 9 page (front and back) checklist of things we are and/or need to be doing. They really didn't "inspect" the grow itself... just compliance stuff.
Thats government....they've just just gotta check off all the boxes on their checklist.
