Those seeds came from dead tour/friendship acquired on tour..not what Jerry smoked as his personal im sure.(not saying he didnt get to smoke any or never did,just saying everytime he rolled up,I'm sure it wasn't chem d 's mom)..in fact he really didn't smoke crazy killer sensi,preferred sexi- mexi green midgrade Mexican)
Look,you can find dank on dead tour all day usually..Jerry and the dead loved pot,but it was easy to come by for tour kids..the musicians had it GIVEN to them,in fact used this to their advantage,demanding crew members go find em a bag of whatever,coke,pot,ect.in the parking lot,and ALLWAYS it was give to them once the fan-dealer realized who was doing their drugs.

their obsession was coke and heroin..sadly..even had appointed people to mail the shit to their next stop for entire tours so they wouldn't have to travel with it(obviously,if you were on the crew,you're a prime target at airports,international p.o.i.)..
They didn't have a personal grower that I know of,at least for their 30 years of tours..maybe in San Fran,or up north in ca at bears house..but no reason or means or interest on tour...
