lmfao...change the genetics with radiation...thats a crock of shit... :weed: pot plants are like vegetables...they fruit and flower during there season... people have protested the longer you leave it..the better it gets...think about how much nutes a 3 year old tree would need.... maybe we need to have a little mythbusters session..

Pot plants have a "biological clock" from when all marijuana was outdoor and would grow in 1 year seasons.

Because of this clock, if you keep mothers alive for over 4 months, they start showing sex with preflowers and the nodes start to stagger instead of growing parallel. This is the plant showing that its ready to pack on the buds.

When you have more "mature" mother plants that your taking clones off of, when you root these clones and put them into flower they WILL start flowering FASTER.

I can prove this if anyone doesnt believe me look at my Homebox XXL grow. Iv been cloning this strain for 8 months, it showed sex 5 months ago and were just dying to pack on some herb. When I switched to flower my plants full buds after 5-10 days. Not the normal "21 days" to show signs.

Some people will claim over time the plant will break down because of the "biological clock" But IMO this doesnt happen with so many new strains and Hybrids. Marijuana strains can go through many generations in a very short period of time which allows the plants to evolve and adapt in a fairly short period of time.

i harvested the same plant 3 times and by the third time, when it started getting bushy. it didnt even look like pot leafs on it. i could see the degradation in it. it absolutly grew back each time. but to me it seemed the plant got more huirtin each time. 20 yearplant huh? my super skunk started flowering on their own after about two months. i guess if you clone a plant for ten years technically its the same plant right? marijauna wont usually bud or flower till it gets the 12 12 and think its life is coming to an end so they produce as much as possible.....anyone heard of giving a plant a 48 hour dark period before flowering? whats the benefit

It resets the plants internal "clock"

If your a more observant grower, you may notice if you go in your grow room 10-15 min before the lights come on you can watch all the fan leafs start to reach up in anticipation for the light.

I always switch my lights off for 36 hours when switching to flower.

Instead of the plants clock being switched by a blast of light when they are normally sleeping, they get switched by the light not coming on. No light is less stress then early light. When the lights dont come on, the plants dont get stressed, they just reset and wait for the lights to come on.

When you do resume lighting on the 12/12 schedule the plants start their new "clock" from the time the lights come on the first day of 12/12

The stories I hear about old plants the people just grow outdoors then let winter come and the plants die then come back in summer. This one weed I smoked was suppossed to be from a 20 yr old plant. One person said there was a plant so big and old that he couldnt hug the stock of it.
C'mon man, enough allready, you post thread after goofy ass thread asking these silly questions of what somebody else told you:rolleyes:,its to the point your on to unrealistic topics such as this statement i quoted you as saying, revegging a plant is understandable & nothing new or spectacular but this.............

Cant hug the stalk

Now the pm you supposedly got about radiation

I call bullshit, either your 12 years old & seriously gullable, with a wild imagination, or your trying to take the membership here for a ride with the endless goofy questions.

If you even need to ask the type questions that you ask on a constant basis then you need to get a new group of peole who tell you things, the ones your talking to now are complete idiots !.

What you quoted wasnt a question, and I typed that a person said they couldnt hug the stock. Also here is the message I recieved about the radiation,

Marijuana is an annual. If it's outdoors, it goes thru it's life cycle (one season) and dies. That's why they produce seeds and pollin, so they can propogate.

If thats true that they die after 1 season then all the people who told me they have seed old plants and, told others must be liars.

In high school my dealer had a bush on the side of his house. It was as big as his vw beetle turned on it's bumper. Every year he hung a buttload of large white Xmas lights in it after harvest. This was a Colombian and finished lste November. After Xmas, he would light it up from a flood light mounted to his soffit pointing down at it until March. At that point it was plenty revegged. I know for a fact he kept it alive at least four years. He claimed it was around three years before I met him. I wager I could have stood on the first two or three branches at my high scoop weight. I've had a lot of munchie sessions since then.
No, i dont believe it

Awesome! Have fun with that. It doesn't exactly freeze where I lived growing up. I have personaly revegged plants several times, as have many here and elsewhere. Why would that practice be more difficult outside? It's photoperiod manipulation no matter where it occurs.

And if you don't believe that I wager I could have stood on the branches, I weighed about a buck twenty wet, and the three lowest branches, which I saw and touched many years were the diameter of a beer can.

interesting reading, now heres the situatioon I live in colombia and right now Im growing one plant. Its already begun to flower, so the question is, as I suppose it was harvested in here and grown in here, and we dont really have freezing winters or so, I think I'd like to harvest and let her grow and grow and harvest and so on. right n ow Its very very bushy as I pruned it A LOT, and its like 20" tall....

so what do you think would be the best way to harvest and keep it growing, keeping in mind weather conditions and by the way, I never gave her nutes, just molasses A lot and one day a whole bottle of vanilla essence, its on an enormous pot. any lights from experienced growers??

Is it just me or is a steady diet of molasses and then a whole bottle of vanilla essence for your plant the most ridiculous thing to do to your plant ever.....
