Old School Skunk, who's found it???

How is it that people don't realize that back when the Dutch were describing "Super Skunk" as "powerful skunk aroma", it meant it had a powerful SKUNK #1 aroma, aka NOT ROADKILL. There's no skunks in Europe, and they were only familiar, at that time, with Skunkman Sam's Skunk #1. So many people giving money to people claiming they have this terp or are remaking it from some "freezer stock". Pretty laughable at this point.
I don't know... this M39 smells pretty skunky my friend..

im sure we'll find it eventually, it used to be so prevalent where i live. it was all i smoked when i was younger, i also find it odd how some people say they havent seen skunk weed since the 80's i find this most curious. when it was most prevalent where i am thats only going back 16 years i suspect it is indeed still around. i think one of the problems is alot of the people looking have never actually smelled skunk hence the confusion with the smell of skunk#1 from sensi

My Wedding Cake x Star Fighter is very skunky...you can smell it above the rest...will it cure out skunky???
That depends I think, you'll have to wait and see.

My M39 is only flowering for a week now, so I don't know how it will turn out. I have had other plants that smell skunky in veg and lose it by cure, but no plants smell this skunky in veg/early flower. Not any I've grown.

I also have a Top Dollar and a Massachusetts Super Skunk going. They both reek of skunk when rubbing the stems, but not like M39.

Last grow my Master OG reeked like skunk and cured to a strange corn smell, hints of skunk. And my Strawberry Diesel cured with the most skunky odor to it.

I'm excited to see what happens and will report on it in my journal..

Skunky stems etc is common throughout the gene pool. The only thing that matters, in today's age, is does the flower stack up with the same acrid foul skunk smell we would all expect, when CURED in a bag. If it isn't that, it's just noise.
As you said proofs in the finished product and the smoke most things kinda or totally lose it after the cure especially a long cure in my experience i aint gonna even get into stem rubs as they dont always hold true or stay the same i find

Sounds nice, and I bet its nice but $400? That's lame. $150, okay..

Also, I remember a clone of 1969 Skunk going around the San Diego area circa 2013. I had it, never flowered it. Wonder what the hell it was and what happened to it..

also, unless you're a driving a rental around the narrow backstreets of Venice Italy, mopeds are fucking lame..

I received a clone only cut of mass super skunk a month back, held by an old timer down south that had it get loose on him. Is the story I was told from a local with 35 yrs under his green thumb.
So far this varietal is a champ, it’s smell and structure with smallish to medium thick leaves that strip easy in the defoliation. Never have I had a plant clone this well. It’s exploding and ready for flower.
leaf ID plays a big part for me in identifying cuts, many one off traits that separate real from fake.

It might be nice but it wont be the original i bet thats gone anything now is probably a s1 or something also the stretchy growth in bloom and the stench of the old superskunk is more of a tell than just leaf shape some strains the leaves change also through stages too a prime example would be Himalayan stuff that mostly starts with wide leaves and finishes with much more thinner leaves in bloom and if its the real mass super skunk in bloom at the end it should look exactly like the old seedbank or older sensi seeds picture in the catalogue of seeds as superskunk those pics are still available online if you look around man
