he's exactly right!....you can get purple taste without them having to turn purple. everything up here turns purple- even if it's not supposed to! it gets pretty damn chilly here at night.

lookin at the pics you do have ive got high hopes for the big bud seedlings at the shop.

in cc mag #70 theres an article called colors in cannabis. it explains that colors are caused by genetic traits, nute def, and environment. color is more or less purely asthetic (think thats the right word)

really thats cool , i grow purple weed and its around 100F + every day ...purps comes out in the las weex.

Most purple buds are nothing to right home about, look cool, that's about it.

Potency/Duration is kinda lacking.

I agree, and I'm sue I've said it before about coloured buds.
However, if you want some purple, and potency, check out Subcools Querkle Strain.
He's a local fella here at RIU and has done a lot of breeding.
He has created some great strains under the TGA name.

ive grown purple weed about 20 or 30 times with extreme potensy,very narcotic.and if youll see in my bottom sig. ,on top of the 15 blue cheese and 11 bb i'm presently doing 37 days flower,, youll see i also have 9 querkle 9 blue moonshine 9 purple wrecks and one blue hash plant in the ground.. 54 plants. 80% will turn purple under optimum conditions.purple color in itsef dooesnt rattle my chain either ,,but with grape taste it goes goes hand in hand,,, but i'm just a small scale grower.

hi everybody i went away for a while out of town on busy to cum home to my 1000watts hps was on and my inline was off temp was at 120 my plant was dryd toast all the last was dried up im was so so mad but i mange to save 6oz so im good and i got alot of strains on the ways here the pic they are one day away from finsih any tips on how to moisting the budup i herd puttin a stem in them and orange peel ima try it tomorrow i harvest three week early so i guess i ould have got 10ozbut anyway here you go
