Further proof of the power of a woman's Will haha. Any smell yet?
There are DEFINITELY smells from the two flowering plants. Pat is a stinky, stinky whore... I love the Purps smell soooo much, I can't wait to start my scrog!

The two little ones, are growing rapidly! A couple more weeks and they'll be ready for their new homes (15 Gallon pots) in the big tent, under my AF-240! :D

Ok, so pics for the masses!

The two seedlings are coming along nicely; lots of growth.

The 'bent' limb is growing nicely too. A little bit of high stress training never phased her a bit!

This is four days growth!

Looking Good Brother :hump:
Thanks dawgie! Now that I've got my sexy new pH meter, and ppm meter my ladies are enjoying highly regulated baths of sexiness on the routine!

For the record,

10ml of Sensi Bloom A
10ml of Sensi Bloom B
8ml of Big Bud
8ml of Bud Factor X
8ml of Bud candy
8ml of sensizyn

Mixed in 4L (appox 1 gallon) of water is pretty much a perfect Advanced Nutrients mix. Usually puts my ppm at 1000 using tap water (200ppm). I can substitute any additive for any other 8ml of additive and it stays about the same too! Sometimes a little higher, sometimes a little lower, but it's always an acceptable mixing ratio!

Other additives I substitute in are;
Voodoo juice
B-52
Overdrive
Tarantula powder (obviously can't use 8ml but I haven't worked the ratio out, so I play it by ear!)

This is Pat! She's getting fat! And smells like Grape Jet Fuel! Very strong smelling plant already.

DSC01272.jpg
This is one of Pat's many, weird, fucked up leaves. Most of her fan leaves only have 3 fingers instead of 7... She's an amputee of sorts, but even her larger fan leaves have trich's...

DSC01274.jpg
This is Cindy, in all her Glory. So Sexy looking, so many god damn bud sites!

DSC01275.jpgDSC01277.jpg
This is the High stress training i did on Cindy. She took it like a champ, and it really freed up some space in the main body of the plant to let light through!

That's all for now, I'll get some shots of the wee little ones shortly!

Thanks man! They're very, very, green that's for sure! :D

As for the time, I'd say probably 4-5 weeks... It was weird, and started to flower on its own, so I'm not exactly sure on how old it is. lol I'd say it's in about week 4-5 of flower... and based on my last 'The Purps' grow, I'd say it's going to be about 9-10 weeks. I was concerned with how 'Pat' would turn out, but she's getting pretty fat, stinky, and coated in resin!

Hey Beef what's up? Always a pleasure to watch you grow some trees :). Did you HST Cindy during flowering? Just curios.

I'm always scared to train them in any way like that once flowering starts, but it looks like it worked out great for you. Interesting. Thanks B!

Yeah, the one thing I did differently was this;

When you normally bend a branch in veg, you can bend it pretty far, and you can hear some pretty gnarly crunches and it'll still be alright. There's no extra weight on the branch from buds, but be careful doing this in flower. I bent it just enough to get it going and let gravity do the rest, but I only let it bend to 90 degrees. I tied a string from the end of the bent branch to the biggest main stock on the plant for support and it's been fine ever since!

I started to train abusively during flowering about 6 months ago and I had seeds in my buds, ...not sure it had anything to do with it, but like franjan, when they start budding, I try not to shock em

Yeah, I hear that. I bent it in first week of flower so I'm really not too worried about it. I've seen an increase in the speed that the lower buds are growing at due to more light penetration from the HST.

This was more of an experiment, but it seems to be working quite well. :D

Next time, about 1 week before I want to flower, I'd like to get a dowel and shove it down as close to the center of my grow bag as possible. Bend all 4 branches over, and tie each one to the dowel.

one thing I really like to do though is use plant ties or mini bungee cord and move the buds/branches where I want them to be, basically LST, that I do constantly during flower

I'd really like to see some of this in action, I don;t remember seeing it in your journal, but I'll take another look!
