on track to hit 1lb?

I have 6 plants 3x nirvanna crystals and 3x confidential cheese, both good yeilding strains.

They are in a 32 gallon tub stacked on top of a 32 gallon nute res. So roots are suspended in air and look great.

Nutrients. Gh 3 part advanced schedule with added diamond nector and florolicias plus and DM zone to fight against root rot.

1000 watt mh/hps ballast and air cooled vented reflector. Im set up in my bathroom which gets constant ac flow as a fan pumps old air out my bathroom ceiling vent.

Air temps are steady 78 degrees F, res is steady 68 degrees. I also have 3 airstones in nute tank.

I just put up a scrog net but the damn holes are too big for my liking so i let them grow through quit a bit before tucking. The space was a little tight so im using the net to give them breathing room. The have between 10 and 18 tops each plant.

Im trying to get at least a lb to make some medical oil. They look healty and are 4 weeks into veg, maybe a little less. They are feminized and are matured now (staggered. Nodes) should I flip to 12/12 now and do you think Could get 2.5 ounces per plant or do you think i need to veg longer? What do you think i would yeild if flipped now? I have plenty of ceiling room, am i running out of space to veg longer?

A full one is probably pushing it I'm gonna say 8-10 zip

Yeah you wont get a pound in that setup plants much too close to grow the size you need for a pound those are 1 oz plants each so 6 oz.

I'll try to find some pics of my very first grow. Basically same setup as mine but a bit more space. White Russian vegged 28 days from seed and got 400-420 grams (smoked some near the end lol). Not saying you'll get it or less as I dont know. It is possible though. You say height is not a problem but I have 7' and always run out due to setup and stretch. I now only veg for 20-25 days for that reason. Good Luck, plants are nice!!

I have 8 foot vaulted ceiling, im also defoiling pretty crazy. I kow some people will give me hell for it but i have seen amazing grow journals and people that swear buy it. Yeah the may be a little close but i have a 5x4 scrog net and im going to train them to spread out so they dont choke eachother out. Honestly after defoiling they grew even faster and now i have more tops poppin out everywhere. I left a good amount of leaves on them but honestly had a small grocery bag full removed and it didnt stress them out one bit. I can actually see what im doing now and manipulate the scrog better. Only thing that sucks is my squares in the nets are too big so i have to let them pop out several inches before i tuck them again. I defoiled yesterday morning and had all tops tucked and tonight have several tops that grew 4 inches taller then the net. Literally 4 inches in 36 hours after removing leafs. So it didnt stunt them, it was quite the opposite

I dont see why everyone says space is an issue. I have 8 foot vaulted ceilings and 6 x 10 foot walls. My scrog net is 4x5, im just gonna scrog them apart so they dont choke each other out. The plants are no closer then 2 rows of 3 5 gallon buckets. The root tub is 32 gallons. I feel like the pic makes it look smaller then it really
is.

the cheese could stretch and yield good dunno about the crystal
until you flower them its hard to know being seed plants
i think more space would help, i guess you can make up for it and let them get taller

this blue cheese plant was vegged for 20 days and flowered for 65 yield was 1lb



size at 2 weeks 12/12

Not saying you will have an issue but it is something to keep in mind. If you are scrogging then you should be fine and 8' will give to lots. I have 7' and yes extra 1' would be nice. Its all strain dependant as well. I misread and thought you were not scrogging due to large mesh, but again you should be good. Also I just tie them over if that happens. Do you flood the upper res? If yes what timing? I do have 6 plants in each upper res and it does get a bit crowded but I just tie them out of the way. My veg times are a bit short to scrog I think.

I dont flood the upoer nor use a timer. I have actually got a pretty good spray with a 1000 gph low pressure pump. I know its not ideal but i also oxygenate the nute res with a high output air pump and a few stones. I have seen people have issues with not using a timer causeing the bean sprout lookin spaghetti noodle roots, but my roots are straight up 100 percent lateral fish bone looking roots.

Before this batch I started another batch and transplanted them outside after they were straight bushes as well as some clones. They are masive and look great. So im not stressing if i dont pull a LB from the indoors. The only reason why its my mission is because everyone says I cant. Just on a mission to prove them wrong. I may not, but in all reality I dont see why i cant. I have put a lot of time and effort making there home and climate perfect.

Yup same with my setup up, kinda lol. My upper tray is only 6" deep and the pump sprays water continuosly, draining back to the res, this water level is ajustable using different lengths of pipe. I use no air and get ample DO by flooming and waterfall effect. Do you time the pump? System has run now for two years and many crops. The spacing of the 6 plants was an issue for me so I have built 2 to allow for 4 plants in each. In actual fact there was not a huge difference between the two with a bit more from the 6 place tray. My original hope was to build multiple units and just move the upper res from room to room.

the sister of this pheno yielded 4.5 oz in the same time frame
on the same run i had a few 3 oz lavenders

just trying to point out how you cant tell in veg what will happen in flower until it happens
especially with sativa doms

the 1lb blue cheese plant was one of the few plants i did not top during veg as it was one of the smallest of all the plants i had
its growth spurt did not really kick in until week 3 of 12/12

Thanks guys. Im trying to flower soon but i cant get the smell under control which is what im trying to do now. I bought a active air carbon scrubber that is about 25 inches long and 5 inches wide with 2 1/2 inches of carbon and a 160 cfm active air inline fan. The scrubber says recommended cfm is only 50? Isnt that really low? I tried it on full blast and also cut the speed in half and it dosnt seem to be working and im only veging.

I have it pulling air through the scrubber recirculating in my bathroom. Its about 5x8x7. Should i run the fan on full blast 160 cfm or slow it down more. Maybe try pushing through the filter instead of pulling? My room is sealed pretty good exept for my ac vents. My room still smells next to my bathroom. Any advice?

also need the right fan. I use a 6" max-fan for my closet... but I also have a generic 4" inline fan from ebay that works perfect. just throwin that out there cuz a lot of people get duct booster fans or something and wonder why it doesnt work.

This is what i am running now and cant dial it in. Im slowing the fan down a little at a time with not much luck. You can see ots a decent size compared to the 5 gallon bucket

you have to connect some duct to exhaust the air somewhere. the fan should be removing enough air so the room has negative pressure and is sucking air in from intake vents or cracks between the door.

if you are running a sealed room and smelling the weed outside the room, then the room isnt sealed.

either way... just blowing air around inside the room isnt going to do anything. and you probably will need a carbon filter matched to your fan speed.

50 cfm is rather small but if temps are ok and smell is the only issue it should be enough to put your room in a negative. You can measure output with a big garbage bag (approx) by inflating it and timing it. Again 50 cfm is quite low but in order for your filter to be effective you must not exceed 50. If its a bathroom you could tie into the exhaust. Actually thinking about it you will need to exceed the amount of air blowing in through AC as well to keep room in a negative. Turn on the ac and cover vents with same bag and time it. Good luck with the odour! Not sure if it works or is just a myth but i have heard the term "happy plants" in reference to non smelling pot grow methods lately. I would have to see it to believe it.

I actually already have a 300cfm fan blowing through my hood and out the exhaust. As far as the scrubber goes i just have it recirculating though the bathroom. Thanks
