I started germination July 1st, all three sprouted July 4th (2015). I built my room. The details are:

Strain - Double Berry (Mainly Indica) Feminized x3

Grow Room - 6.5' Deep, 4'8" H (this is the max the plant can go after accounting for light and pot), 6' W

Lighting - 600w MH for Veg, 600w HPS for flower (with cheap reflector wing), Styrofoam for reflection. Cycle has been 20/4. Begins at 6 pm and ends at 2 pm.

Air circulation - 1 4" inline exhaust w/ carbon filter (apparently 220 cfm), oscillating 16" fan, evaporative air cooler/ionizer, 1 6" wall fan

Growing medium - Hydro store starter soil (plants are still in it in the pics), Fox Farms Ocean Forest once transplanted. Pots are 6" diamtere, 6" height, but they have a 1" spacer at the bottom.

Nutrients - Rx Green Part A and Part B for veg and bloom (using the correct ones when applicable), CaliMagic, Silica Blast, Rx Green Microbial mutual beneficial root grow

Water - Distilled water from grocery store or from purifying it myself.

CO2 supply - been using what the people in the house naturally exhale, but purchasing some fungal boxes tomorrow and may make some sugar/yeast water myself (stinks like dirty socks, but that is preferable to the pleasant, tho noticeable, MJ odor).

Environment - been very difficult to control. My RH has been just under 60% throughout, but my temps are hanging around 90°F. I purchased the evaporative cooler today. I am removing the digital ballast tomorrow (hopefully the temp goes down to 80°F ish.

I have watered when needed (5 times since sprout). I added the first nutes 4 days ago. Here is what was added:
1.5 ml part A
1.5 ml part B
1 scoop of root magic (All in a gallon)
I use 19 fl oz per plant

I added more yesterday:
2.5 ml part A
2.5 ml part B
1.5 scoop root magic
1 ml silica blast
1 ml calimagic
19 fl oz per plant

2 of the girls are looking great (at least i think so). However, the other one "split". Instead of the stem continuing straight up, a branch and leaf formed instead and the main grew diagnolly. It almost looks like it "topped" itself. I have searched, but nothing really answered my question to my satisfaction. I read about a mutation, but the pics i saw just werent the same.

So my question (s) are:

What is going on with the odd ball?
Are my plants ACTUALLY healthy?
Am I missing something from my nute list?
Any other advice that I may have forgot or havent learned?

I have read over a hundred posts, 17 books, and I do have a degree is Chemistry and Biological Engineering (Bachelors and Masters respectively). Human Biology though. My knowledge of plant anatomy and biology is limited to bio 101, 102, micro bio, and organic chem. I am fortunate enough that I am also able to take sampels to view under my microscope which is why I realized i needed to do something about my CO2 (stomata were WIDE open). They are choking for air. I wont bother with CO2 during dark times (plants have no need of co2 during the calvin cycle, of course).

Thanks is advance to everyone who takes the time to educate me.

DO NOT Use Distilled Water to Feed With! This Could Be The Whole Problem Altogether! But you need to get that Temperature Down, I suggest using a night schedule when it is cool outside.. Also keep humidity stable with constant air circulation, if its getting humid there is not enough ventilation. --Glad to Help!

Really? What would be optimal? I figured tap water is too risky, but assuming has always turned into a bad decision.

I did forget....
I DO have a ph tester (hanna). Been keeping it at 6.2. However, i have not purchased my own ppm/ec meter yet (i have borrowed the one from my lab before i added nutes).

PH tap Water at 6.6 and let it sit out a day at room temperature to "evaporate" unwanted chemicals.
What about the other nutes/minerals that stick around? Would I need the calimagic, or just cut it back even more? Or just wait until they tell me what they want? I was thinking of being a reactive grower, but that is not my personality. However, I am willing and determined to do whatever I need to so that they grow to be happy ladies.

Thanks for your advice so far dabfather

The chemicals left over are not enough to take toll unless some serious over watering is done... Just keep these babies PH right and don't over nute them. Make sure to water without nutes every 3 waterings. This will stop salt build-ups.

I was planning to do the feed, feed, water pattern. So that is good to know my research has proven worthwhile (as usual lol)

All looks fine from my personal experience. Keep it simple. I use tap water and let it sit out 24 hrs with just Alaskan fish nute from Home depot and had great results. Only water when pot is dry, never check my PH in soil. Keep it simple is the key my friend. Anyhow, they look fine so have fun and enjoy your grow.

Dude relax. DNA is a complicated thing. Ever notice that human beings are not all perfect? Trees don't always grow up straight and strong. Of the seeds that actually germ and grow, some just ain't perfect. It's just nature bro. It ain't perfect.

I do not know if you are sarcastic or not. You are correct of course. Its just that....well, I am a biologist. I have an extreme understanding of genetics. I just happen to focus on humans. Either way, I appreciated your response. Thank you very much.

I am already sure they are okay. I just want to know what is up with plant. If it did "top" itself, i think that is pretty cool, right? Hahaha

Thanks again foe your responses dank and cass

I needto edit.......dank.. ROFLMAO!!! I didnt notice the youtube insert before, but omg that is hilarious! I am still laughing
