One of my girls was pregnant!

I am still perplexed as to how this happened. I was manicuring the harvested buds last night and lo and behold, one of the lower buds was seeded! Just one bud. The bud was chock full of seeds. This plant also has no marijane smell and smells like freshly cut lawn grass. I am wondering if it was a hermie or maybe it came into contact with some airborne pollen. I cut my males down 2 months ago and they were all immature. Any other theories?

if you weren't carefull enough with the males some pollen from even one mature sac could have pollinated your female.

Yeah, I know but they were not even close to being mature. I cut them down after only about 10 days flowering. And only one bud was pollinated? That's kind of weird.

I was asking abudsmoker about this same subject.
He told me that once pollinated that a bud will show seeds within 7 days.

I was worried about mine not being sensi.

I took my males and hermie the day after they showed sex.

As far as this crop goes I am fortunate enough to be out of work.

I monitor them very closely.

Also I was wondering if they could have got pollinated with something else while they were outside.

Also did you have the males and fems outside together?

I had about 7 plants total. 3 turned out to be male. One died after being traumatized and I was left with the 2 females. I had a male about a year ago that I allowed to mature. Perhaps some of it's pollen somehow survived and made it to my plant. The other girl I am still growing doesn't show any signs of being pollinated. In fact, it's beginning to make sense to me now - the taller plant, the one with the seeds, never had the marijane smell and had few trichs, compared to the shorter one. I am thinking that's because it was pollinated and spent its energy on seed production instead of resin.
