Yes the first number is always nitrogen so that would be 5 nitrogen it always goes in order from n-p-k the second number is p then k

The reason your flushing is to rid the nitrogen and fix the ph so no need to give it something u just tried flushing

Np also tie the bitch down, if you tie a string around the tip of the plant and tie it to the side of the bucket so it grows sideways, all your branches will become giant head nugs goodluck

When they fold like that ph, when the tips point down at a 90 degree angle and fan leaves become very dark that's nitrogen overdose

Some times minor folds like that appear when rootbound but not as bad that's ph most likely, use a ph of 6.5 you can buy a cheap color coded kit for 10 bucks and an extra 10 for acid or alkaline
