One of plant is in clay mediam,and im flushing

Is it ok to take a little rod and poke it into the soil to help flush water threw the clay??Will this kinda help roots spread are will it hurt them if i poke strait down to help water to flush threw...

Dont think clay is a good medium :-?
Is this outdoor ? .....clay would be pretty tough for the roots to get through.
Poking holes in the soil will help with watering and to aerate the roots :mrgreen:

I have a 5 foot plant growing in it and its almost ready for harvest,it has been great medium believe it or not,but hard to flush cause it holds moisture..

The grown is full of it here in arkansas,its a outside plant,yes have pics will post in a little bit.One is in mulchy soil and one in clay,both doing about the same!!!AWESOME grow to me and its my first one
