One plant threw nanners, 40 days 12/12. 14 pot SCROG. What to do?

Hey guys,

Last night I looked at one bud that looked like it had a seed in it. So I started to inspect the whole grow, but since this is a 14 pot scrog, that can be quite difficult. Finally, I discovered nanners on The Purps #4 (BD Bud Depot). I removed about 6 or 7, single and groups of nanners. But I sure was too late as there are quite a few seeded buds in this scrog. Any suggestions how I should proceed? This is day 40 of 12/12 and has been flowering for only 26 days. Should I kill the Purps #4? Or keep growing her out while keeping an eye for nanners?

I had an OG#18 from clone that used to grow a few 'nanners just around the bottom but I never got any seeds from that tho grew 3 generations from the same clone. It was just a few and it didn't continue on the rest of the plant but each clone would do it about 3 weeks into 12/12.

The deed is done now so if you don't see lots more 'nanners popping up I'd keep it but if it keeps throwing them then maybe it should go. Even a light pollination on your other plants will reduce potency and yields all over. Been there, done that when I f'ed up pollinating a few branches once. Everybody out of a dozen plants had 200 - 300 seeds on them and a half-assed harvest. Full pollination would have had 1000s of seeds on each tho.

Good luck!

I just had a skunk do this to me on my last grow. It had a few buds that filled in with them then it stopped. idk if it was heat that made it do it or something just not right, but I kept that plant separate and I find a few seeds in the bud here and there.

Unless you have something on deck ready to throw into 12/12 then why not?
Soon as these regs I got going now grow enough, I’m planning on taking cuts and tossing them under 12/12 to sex em out. These seeds will join em for the ride, whatever females decide to show themselves stay for some early pickins til the real crop is done.

Thanks for all the replies.
I removed the herming plant and continued to check the rest of the grow. I discovered nanners on the 3 other The Purps as well!
So out of these 14 plants, I had 4 The Purps from seed, and they all hermed! None of the other strains (Bodhi, DNA, Greenhouse, Sannie's, Serious) in this grow have any nanners. I'm pretty sure I have no light leaks and I don't know what else could've stressed them. I have to assume its the genetics that caused this. So I had all 4 The Purps removed, and the rest of the grow looks pretty seeded. Still got 5 weeks to go. Pretty bummed out about this as I was most excited for The Purps.

Should I contact BC Bud Depot regarding this issue? What can I expect from them?

They will blame your growing practices regardless of the validity
