Ok so I have a question. In about 1 -1/2 weeks I am thinking about starting to add nutrients to my grow (General Hydroponics Flora Nova Grow). I understand that I should only mix 1/4 of the recommended dosage per gallon of water. My question is, how often should I feed the plant the nutrients? Should I just give nutrient water to the plant for 1 day a week or every other day or everyday? Apologies if this is considered a dumb question.

Water, feed, water, feed, etc. Watch how the plant responds to make sure your not overdoing it. Keep watering until a good bit of runoff even with your nutes. I know it seems like you're throwing money away and you are, but it's for the benefit of the plant.

Ok so if I water twice a day then in the morning water with nutes until run off and then later that night water with no nutes and keep doing this 7 days a week.

No no, how much water are you giving them at a time now?

I've over-nuted they will show some stress the next day. But you won't see how bad until 2 or 3 days.

If you feed that often, do it in really low doses. Really really low.

In the morning I give the plant around 32 ounces of water and then at night I give enough water for run off.

Let it dry some between watering. It adds oxygen to the root zone, which helps a lot.

Let it dry, increase to 1/2 or at least 1/3 gallon when you water. Let this become a cycle that you repeat over and over.

You will start to notice the leaves will droop when it wants water. With a little practice and observation you will get to where you can see this right when it starts happening. That's when you water.

Yep, I have a few plants in 3 gallon grow bags right now. 1/2 gallon usually on Saturday then my nutrients on Tue or Wed.
