Hello everyone, this is my second indoor grow. I bought train wreck seeds at greenhouse seeds.nl. I had some questions. I needed some advice from the experienced growers what they would do to improve my closet even more/ or the plants. They are still in veg but planning on flowering them very soon. I have 3 plants who are a bit bigger then the other 6 plants (later clones). I haven't topped them yet but I don't know if that is needed with my limited space anyway, because I think it will be a lot like a SOG grow as soon as they get a bit bigger (and what I've heard is that if you do a SOG grow it isn't needed to top the plants). I have about a 15 ft2 (3 feet by 6 feet) place with cfl's with 9 plants and the closet is about 5 feet tall. So should I top my plants or not? Also as you can see there are 3 buckets with 2 plants in each bucket but the buckets are really big so I don't think the roots from one plant will interfere with the other. And this bring me to my second question, do you think it would be better to put a plastic cardboard between them (as shown in the middle bucket) so the roots of both plants won't interfere with each other? Any other tips from the experienced growers will be much appreciated ( tips on how you would think you could improve the quality even more or bring me more quantity)! Please let me know I appreciate it a lot! I'm sorry about my grammar, English is my 3rd language so sometimes I struggle a bit with it.

Thanks a lot!,

Welcome to RIU !
Nice looking set up, but I would advise you to get a lot more light on them and to get the lighting you do have much closer.
As for the roots of one plant interfering with the other, don't worry - as long as they have ample space they won't care if there is a neighbor in their pot.

I actually do have 2 fans in it, one big one in the top right corner and one smaller one in the left with 2 more holes for ventilation but you can't see it because I actually made the fans in the closet walls. There botch big computer fans. I looked for the y-splitters but they don't have them where I live, this was the only thing they had, I have 4 105 watt 6400 K lamps in it and one 65 watt 2700 kelvin lamp in it (all cfl's as you can see), should't this be enough? Does anyone have some advise on just leaving the plants like this or to do scrog/ topping? Please let me know! Thanks for all the help already!

My personal preference is SCROG.
I'm limited to a small space myself & you will be amazed what you can turn out of your closet with the proper equipment.
If your height limitation is only 5' you will probably need to use some training to keep them down a bit. In addition to SCROG I also utilize LST, FIM, topping & super cropping.
As for the single plants in the pots - you might think of transplanting into something larger, they seem pretty small.
