Im on Vancouver Island. Got the greenhouse up in March. Started popping seeds inside in january. Timed the germinations for a cut biweekly starting from first cut to end of outdoor season.

Im Attaching pics of the greenhouse and a Black Jedi Power (black lime special reserve X i think Jedi Kush) female reg photo that i started from seed in january. Shes still in veg and as of today june 7th, holding a steady growth rate of 1 inch a day, shes already about 5 feet tall. Still holding the indica structure with the height of a sativa.

All of my plants are withstanding canadian coastal spring temperatures and greenhouse highs have been close to 35 c, down to 4c at night with humidity fluctuating between 30 and 90%. All plants and clones in the greenhouse are also holding healthy growth patterns.

Im growing in soil. Mixed with cooked horse and chicken manure, peat, sand, vermiculite, reg garden soil base.

I water with both unmixed ground water and nutes. I was using medi-View attachment 4346518 View attachment 4346519 one but it was screwing with my ph too much. Now im using GH's FloraNova along with liquid seaweed.

Preflower i add GPN Rezin to my veg nutes.

Early flower i use GH FloraNova, HS Bloom, Rezin, SuperBloom, liquid seaweed and brown sugar.

Late flower I add OverDrive.
Flush I use FloraKleen.

When the plants start bulking up (at around week 15 from seed germ) I put them in five gallon buckets. I drill holes all over the bottom and up the sides of the buckets.

I had been having a problem with yellowing 2 month seedlings. I was told by a friend to try brown sugar and am seeing good results. Does anyone know the science behind using sugar to feed plants? Are plants able to use carbs that are readily available and can sugar provide them?
Love your greenhouse

Whats depo? The 2 plants in the 2 gallon pots came from my room indoors. Just going to finish them outside so i could get some others inside as im backlogged.lol
Light deprivation.

Intentional manipulation of the natural light cycle to get plants to flower and finish earlier than normal. Some people cover the plants or move them to a dark place (shed etc) on a continuous basis so the plants will "think" it's time to flower. It's a way to get an earlier crop.

As an aside, Ed Rosenthal has expounded on the benefits of flowering this time of year producing more potent weed, due to the light spectrum now versus in the fall.

Hat's off to Thumper, he has it going on.

Wish i could do that but i am away 2 weeks at a time. Never really able to finish plants here on vancouver island before monsoons hit in sept/oct/nov. So i thought a greenhouse cover would help prevent moisture and mold when fall starts. Also trying an early finishing strain to try and avoid this. Heres hoping. Good thing i always have 3 little pricks inside flowering

Not yet.

It's painful to grow 'em big only to throw half away. Here's hoping for a sunny dry fall !

Keep a close eye on the flowering plants. The short nights are going to make them re-veg if you can't move them out of the light or throw some shade.

I find it always takes awhile to reveg plants in my area. Seems like it takes forever but will probably kill them in the next few days anyways just to be done with them and restock the supply. Not much on them anyways. Wasnt really expecting anything from them anyway. Trying to reveg these 2 plants after i harvested them. I think the pink kush is my new favorite. Love the smell and flavor and of course the effect.lol. hopefully i can get them to come back sooner than later and take some babies.find out and seeScreenshot_20190613-193943_Photos.jpg

Cabbage looper.Look for grayish moths at night flying around your garden.Theyre laying eggs in/around your plant hatching into those.
I checked Wednesday night and shook a plant. Sure enough a gray moth came flappin out from underneath the pot. I have been checking under leaves and in buds for eggs but not underneath pots. Thanks for the info.

Yeah spinosad is good for mites thrips and worms. I use bt all through flower. Never had worm damage while using it. Preventative is the best solution.
