i know ill feel great once i get past the first week or 2 but i dont know what lures me back each time. ive wasted to much of my life on this shit

opiates are bad, recently quit them and cigs to, crazy hard, i usually find that smoking a nice blunt helps. and i occasionally drink a beer or two every now and then and its been getting me by, good luck.

My brother in law lives with us . he was a slave to them ,(perc's,vic,oxy) he was in a bad crash .. He is now on methadone .. It helps him alot and he dont "withdraw" If your in pain an NEED the meds ask your Dr for methadone instead .Its alot cheaper too.. If you were abusing them to ""GET HIGH"" then Dont do it and you wont suffer .. But yet I feel you bro ..I know its hard .. Try to sleep as much as poss.. drink some NYQUILL..

A little weed seems to help for a few minutes. I don't think there's a drug-free remedy for relief.

As far as i know the best remedy is knowing that you are no longer a slave. Once the migraines are gone it gets easier.

Drink poppy seed tea. I used a quarter pound, a 2 litre bottle and 1/4 cup of lemon juice. SHAKE the shit out of it like your life depended on it for about an hr.I had an opiate high for at least 6 hrs. Some people have said it does not work. But I am proof it does ! I used just grocery store BULK poppy seeds. Next time I am trying a half pound

5-HTP and a light benzodiazapene like xanax, ativan, or valium is a HUGE help, just don't trade one evil for another. Marijuana can add to the anxiety but it's other benefits outweigh that possibility. If you can force yourself to do something active you will not regret it. im on day three, cheated a little at work today, kinda had to, I was feeling like shit so bad it was take half a tab or leave sick. It sucks so bad. I want to feel life again so bad. Opiates make you so numb to everything. However they are great fun if you can take one and be done with it for a week or more. When you get 120 a month for chronic pain, it's just too easy to take them more than you really need.

fuck prescription pills man...oxys are harder to kick than heroin...never done heroin but idid like my oxys...i do vicodin every once in awhile and let me tell you, they suck ass i use to like those fuckers but for the price its costs to get me where i want to be id be better off getting thee oxy and make it last 2 days, but anyways if i was to do any more opiates it will be the ones that i will grow meaning id make my own morphine etc, thats something you shoiuld think about if you need something for pain...as for kicking the habit it was hard for me bro...it took me a longtime i kept going back to them...but it seemed id last longer everytime...havent touched those in a year or two now. weed helped me alot drinking did too but drinkings 10 times worse than opiates so i dont recommend that...why dont you try to fasting for a week? i heard thatss great if your trying to detox
