Just wondering different opinions on outdoor soil grows and if ph of the water going into plants is necessary since most good soils buffer anyways

you pretty much nailed it.
So in your opinion it's not really important to ph in an outdoor soil do to the fact of the buffering aspect of the soil. I was kinda curious because the ph swing between water by itself and water with nutes and or other addatives such as molasses etc can cause the ph to swing up and down pretty radically But thanks for your response I really appreciate your time and input TWS

My out door plants are watered straight from the hose with Chlorine around 7.5 - 8.2 with nutes it might knock down to 6.5 - 7. I generally add some dolomite lime to my soil to help if it even matters. don't think I did this year. You'll pretty much find out most ever body don't.

That's kinda what I figured I've been gardening for several years now and it has been a learning experience the whole way. I personally do not ph my soil because of buffering affect and because if it ain't broke don't fix it but there's some people who feel the need to ph in soil grows ..... In my own personal research I have also found that some of the products used to adjust ph can actually kill good things that we want in our soil microbes etc ..... Like adding store bought ph adjusters and mixing it with molasses will actually defeat the purpose because some ph adjusters will kill the microbes in the soil and molasses ..... So thanks for your input because I've found this to be a pretty touchy subject the whole ph soil thing

Yeah that would be a bad thing lmao I guess there's a difference between feeding microbes and them being in what we eat lol. That's what happends when I try to be smart after taking some fine medicine Absolutely right microbes in soil not molasses lol haha
