Opinions please: What do you think will yield more?

I know the general rule of thumb for how much yield there will be based on watts and I also do understand there are tons of variables. I just want to get some opinions to form some kind of hypothesis but I will have an official experiment later. Right now, I have 14 plants flowering under 2000 watts of HPS total in approximately 6 x 4 area. They are in 8" pots. However I also have 25 clones vegging right now which will be placed in that same area later on once ready, but will be in 6" pots and will be more crowded than the current batch. My question is, although there is the same amount of watts + space do you think there will be a significant difference in yield? They will also be vegged for the same amount of time (About 45 days). Should of tied em down

Dont think it would've made a big difference in yield since they're crowded anyway, lst is useful for people with only a couple of plants

I've left one of my plants in a 6" pot while all the others are in a larger 8" pot. It's one of the tallest compared to others which are the same age/strain. I have a feeling it will have lesser yield though.
