Opinions wanted on When to flip to 12/12 and 36hr dark period

ok, so here are my Belladonna ladies (all fem) from Paradise Seeds @ day 35 from germing, my questions are:
a) does the 36hr dark period the day before give them that extra kick in the ass to start flowering and
b) are they ready to flip or should i let em veg a little more.

they are in 18L pots in a 1.2m x 1.2m x 1.8m tent with all usual ventilation, etc. (no co2)

Any tips, help, advice, opinions, greatly welcomed and appreciated.

36 hour dark period?!?! wtf? lol no dont do that just go straight to 12/12 and i wouldnt do it yet in fact your going to run into an issue some of those are getting close to the minimum worth it to flower height (for me nothing under 18 inches) but then you still have some smaller plants as well..im guessing your working with a one room operation? so i personally would find another place to continue vegging the smaller plants when you decide to flower the others..i would flower at about two feet and start pulling those plants over and doing some lst if you want any sort of decent yield!! also i would not be vegging under an hid it is not cost effective at all

yeah I would let them go just a little more, as Kermit said usually nothing under 18 inches is a rule thumb for me unless im making them monsters. Also I grew for this lady once that did the 36 hour thing and there is really no difference, just throw them ladies on 12/12 as soon as your wanting to flower them.

so I just realized the size of your tent and the fact that belladonna is a sativa dominant strain so some of those look like they should go and some others need some more time.

the thing with this strain is they dont get very wide, allowing for more plants per square ft, i triggered this strain last grow @ 14 in and still pulled just over 2oz a plant, was looking for 3 this time so vegged them for 1 week longer so far, soon to be 2 and they are in 18l pots this time as opposed to 11.5l last time. your wtf? to the 36hr dark period is what? it doesnt do anything, or literally wtf as you not heard of it.. thanx for advice man, appreciated. oh yeah, they were vegged for first couple of weeks under a t5 flourescent, then put under the 600w hps @ about 3 wks old.

im hoping by monday that the smallest now will be around 16-18in, they've only just had their first full strength feed plus im waiting on some bud ignitor and voodoo juice b4 inducing flowering so they pretty much have to have at least one more week, plus i wanna take some clones for next time. i prob should mention that 1 is already flowering for some reason and has been for a few weeks, she can come out at any time but as long as she not causing a problem, she can stay there, i'm interested to see how she turns out actually, she's had a head start of about 3 weeks on the others when i flip them. no chance of cross contamination or an auto get in there somehow, i germed ten ladies from same packet, all popped and got planted into 5cm pots for 2 weeks then kept the best 9, at the time. just one of those things lol. here's a pic of the lil cretin lol

Yeah maybe just an autoflower or something, weird. One thing about the voodoo juice is I hear its pretty pricey and does the same thing as many other lines of nutrients out there that are a lot cheaper. This is only my opinion, but I use the general organics line and its super clean stuff and works wonders and is so much cheaper. There are other things then the general organics as well its just the one I found that works best for me and I have went threw a few different brands. So like I said just an opinion and maybe you'll look into some other lines to maybe just save you some money.

you are so right regarding the price of AN nutes m8 but i use the complete range atm, and there's a few of em jeez!!!!! lol think i may switch back to canna or summin, but i do think AN are the business, perhaps not as brilliant as their price would imply tho. it can also be confusing when they have to have 16 different nutes at different stages of growth adding some, stopping them, starting them again........ yeah, time to change for sure...

well 2 zips is nice on a 14 inch plant if your hitting that you should definately grow em out a bit and see what you can get..paradise is good in my book i averaged a little over an o and a half per plant on a five plant run of whiteberry and i was using a 400 so not bad since they were shorter than id like to flower 14-16 inches or so i tihnk they were..lol ya ive never heard of doing such a thing and i had just smoked first time for the morning so i thought it was kind of funny because i cant see why people would do that personally..if you already know what your doing then take my advice with a grain of salt i usually kind of assume people are beginners and their are more than one way to do things here so if you like the hid during veg go for it but for me not cost effective same with the plant size if you know the strain to produce well and you can flower that early more power to ya but ive never grown a strain in which i wasnt happier with the larger of the lot up until a point ofcourse dont want to kill the light penetration.

that was my reasoning behind larger pots, more vegging, lets if i can get 3 n half to 4 a plant and next time, with clones of best mum in there, whichever one she is lol.

a little off subject, but still baby bud porn, here are some pics of some ww x bb i have on the go @ day 35 of 12/12. had serious height issues with these mamas but coming on nicely, if not a little behind for what i was expecting... :-(

these are all over 14" atm, was gonna let em go to about 2ft, so they'll be finishing off at around 4ft but it will/should be 44in of bud, lollipopping bottom 4-6" lol. I have no doubt ill be pulling 3+/-oz a plant, the structure on this strain is fantastic, internode after internode, 3 an inch sometimes but i have never vegged em this long, theyre usually halfway to the drying room by this stage ;-)
