Optimum Hydroponix A+ B Growth and Bloom Nutrients

Hi all, I have picked up these nutes at my local hydro store and was not sure if anyone has used these before and if they are reccomended?

Also I cannot find a feeding schedule anywhere for them, I have mixed 20L of water @ 50% strength and have been feeding it to them every second day with straight water in between.

But I have no clue if this is good or bad :confused:

Can anyone recommend a feeding schedule? PLEASE!
 
Hmmmm...... BUMP!

Please help anyone! Even if you are not familiar with this product please help devise a feeding schedule for me, I need to know how often to feed the mixed solution vs. regular water and how much per feeding.


Here is some more info on the Nutes:

Growth
You mix 20ml of Growth A and 20ml of Growth B with 10L water.
Grow A: 5-0-2
Grow B: 1-5-8

Bloom
You mix 25ml of Bloom A and 25ml of Bloom B with 10L water.
Bloom A: 6-0-3
Bloom B: 1-4-8
 
Thanks Squarepush3r, but could you reccomend a feeding schedule for them?

I dont know how many times a week to just water and how many time to feed the nute solution? also how many ml`s per water of nute feeding?
 
Hi Illumination, Thanks for the link, but that was obviously the first place I looked. But there is still no feeding schedule on there! lol Someone please HELP!!!

Ok, almost there, so what about the schedule part? How many times a week with just water, how many times with those PPM nute fiqures? and how many ml`s per for each type of feeding? (water or nute mix)

OR is the nute mix (which obviously already has alot of water) the only thing they get?
 
Hey honeycorn, I use optimum A & B veg and bloom with the whole mystic line,zenzyme,titan,pro 2001 for cloning,supermax b1 and mermix. I highly recommend to anyone. I will send you a feeding schedule diagram thingy if youd like. I'll pm you.

P.S. Before I was using Canna.

Awsome! Thanks a Million man! Been Looking EVERYWHERE!!! and cant find a schedule or anyone else who use`s this brand. I was really thinking about the Supermax B1 for my next round. Do you recommend that one? does it have good trace minerals?

Thanks for the rep man. Yes I recommend supermax b1 its just as good as any b1 supplement out there at a better price. The one I highly recommend as well is the mermix. I am going to PM you

No Prob, and I have already picked up the Supermax B1, girls will get if with their last feed tomorrow. Is the Mermix a seaweed exract product?

What do you use for cal and trace elements/minerals?
 
optimum's bloom formula is VERY close to gh floranova grow. you can forget about optimum's 'grow' formula. 3-1-4 is best for growing anyway. start with just the base and get it dialed in, then worry about additives. post the label - all the elemental % - and the bottle's weight, and i'll tell you if you need calmag.

do you have a pH and ec meter? if not, get them. a schedule will get you close. measuring, applying and observing will dial it in. illumination is right: the plants will tell you. you don't mention your growing setup or your skill level.

i usually go with feed feed flush. and i have 5 gallon pots and i water each plant with a half gallon every 2 or 3 days. usually wait until the top inch of the soil is dry to water. works great for me. i usually use dutch master or advanced nutrients but i just got some of the rooting gel from them for free.

forgive me if i misunderstood squarepush3r but if he means to start at those numbers i would say thats good. i usually start around 350ppm for first feed and i bump the ppm up about 100 gredually every week so when i start flowering its at roughly 800 to 900 ppm and i go until i hit 1200 ppm but i have gone a little over that and my girls are fine. but ya water every other day or every 3 days. wait for top inch of soil to get dry if you grow in soil. just feed, feed, flush. so 1 maybe 2 times a week use just water. ro water if possible.
 
I also have the A&B Grow for veg I use a 200L barrel and in the beginning I used 200mL for the 200L then after 1 week I increased the dosage to 400mL for the 200L and I water 2 days straight no water the third day fresh water 1 day then nutes the next then no water so example mon nutes tues nutes wed nothing thurs fresh water friday nutes sat nothing sun nutes mon nutes so on and so on I haven't had a problem with this can you tell me your info that you got I just did this on my own but I would like something to go with since I had no info for this also I only feed 200mL per plant nutes or fresh water please get back to me I would really appreciate it.
