yeah I didn't mean to take over this thread lol, I was just curious to the reply that your soil's funoff should be .2-.4 higher than what your feeding it.. I haven't had n e issues that I'm aware of with general hydro up and down.. Is it really that bad? What exactly is the issues with using gen hydro with soil
The only way that would be correct, is for example, if you were feeding with 6.3, in soil with PH of 6.8. That would raise(buffer) the PH a couple points. But, if the soil was 6.3, and the fert was 6.8, the results would be the other way around. So,...there's is no correct answer, because it all depends on the math.
