Orange hairs week 5

hi I’m worried about the amount of orange hairs on my royal queen seeds “ critical “
It isn’t a light or heat issue as the four critical are sitting below other plants due to being in a scrog set up there isn’t any obvious deficiency signs as plants are green and healthy and have been thriving out of my 3 strains the critical are the best performers so far any ideas as to the orange hairs tho I’ve never had them this early before ??

Usually that means it self pollenated
So I suspect you are going to have seeds

Wouldn’t that mean all my plants in same tent would be pollinated ?

Doesn't look all that out of the ordinary. Could be genetic. Something to know is pistils can go orange from a bunch of reasons.
Those don't look like pollinated but just changed over to me. Maybe it's a bit early for the changeover.

Hot food, ph off, any number of things can make em change over early, over water, under water, etc.

At this point where you're at @Liamp1603 I wouldn't worry much about it, not much to do with em but ride em out.

from fluffy white and stiff puffing out to bent over and orange, not to be confused with pollinated and receded into calyx

I’ve read that they go through this stage 2 or 3 times during flower but I’ve never experienced it before until now ? Will they fatten up now then up until I cut them down they’ve still got 21 days to go ? They’re 35 days into flower now so minimum of 56 if not more days

Yes the flowers should still continue to swell (existing calyxs) and new ones will continue to grow and stack sending out white pistils but you should start seeing more and more orange as the days and weeks pass.

Take it all in and inform next grow, They look like they're doing what they're supposed to.

i say over feed, to much nutes can turn your pistils orange, and look how deep green the leafs are.

just observation, but like said, could be many things to contribute to it.

This guy is correct.

Even one day of heat stress can cause quite a few pistils to color.
May not necessarily mean the plant is maturing faster.

So if I leave then off the feed for a while they’ll be more healthy I hate seeing any yellowing leaves it scares me and I thought green leaves were a good thing ?

They aren’t showing signs of heat stress no canoeing or anything and I have a big oscillating Dan on 247 and an extraction my thermometer has broken so I’ve gta replace it soon this weekend so I dno the temps for deffo

The pistils changing could be, not saying is, a sign of heat stress. I have a purple starburst that if the canopy temps hit 95°F all those puffy white fresh pistils will fade to stiff light orange but the plant's leaves will still look fine. The plant will continue to grow and well, but nowhere near as optimal had it not suffered the brief heat wave.

I had some buds orange at WK 4.
Then they just grow new ones constantly fat buds

They’re still making white hairs and they don’t look as many orange as there was I’m hoping they fatten right up now as royal queen seeds say there flowering time is 49 to 56 days and I’m on 39 today

Couldn't agree with CannaBruh more. But, ya they will fatten up, and you can't rely on the breeders estimated time. Some of my plants pistils darken earlier too, depending on the strain. My Green Crack is getting pretty orange, but my Golden Goat is still all white. They look good though.

I’m Gna let them run longer than breeder states anyway I watched a YouTube video that said let them run longer if your checking trichomes because you only check the outside and the trichomes are through out the buds so when they start ripening and going brown outside they haven’t on the inside yet .... could be a good point maybe not I can try and see tho
