So I usually run inhouse. This is a purchase biscotti clone. Seems to be a lighter feeder than what I’m used to? Over did something... what happened here?

using botanicare pure blend pro veg and cal mag. GFF. Mammoth P. That’s it.

I flushed with water.

Plants still doing it some. Just this one. Does it need MORE cal mag? I feed the max my botanicare says to feed 5ml, just go heavier on this plant? Getting frustrated. Plant as a whole looks great but one or two leaves will always do this..... 6.8, 6.7 PH, botanicare pure blend pro veg and botanicare cal mag and mammoth p and GFF all I’m feeding.

Once a leaf had damage from a calcium deficiency, it’ll never “heal” and go back to being green. Is it the same leaf that has the discoloration or is it popping up on new leaves? What I like to do is remove the damaged fan leaves when I spot them and then make sure no new leaves are affected.

New leaves man. That’s the problem.... I left the bad ones for weeks. Now three days after pulling them in getting that on new top leaves. I fed double cal mag. Two teaspoons instead of one. Botanicare cal mag..... hope it fixes it. Only plant doing this. Biscotti. Bought from clone.

I’m not entirely sure it is calcium deficiency.

usually when calcium deficiency starts its small light circles. Which later develop into darker circles which turn red/rusty. Then inter veinal chlorosis starts.

I’m thinking it could be K related with the pattern of the colouring.

My veg nute is 3-2-4, maybe back off it some? I just don’t know man. This is the only plant giving me problems. I hate to worry over these damn rust spots but I’m to the point where I can keep my plant pretty... healthy looking and these blemishes don’t look good. I’m running garden friendly fungicide so I don’t think it’s fungus. I’m really only starting to look into these deficiency’s and toxicities, and want to fix it.

Im not 100% it’s even K but I am adamant that it’s not Ca.

ive Dealt with Ca def symptoms plenty of times due to my 0.2EC source water, then came to realise that I needed to add 0.2EC of a Calmag supplement as I’m a coco grower.

worth while taking your time and don’t rush.

my own advice when dealing with something that isn’t 100% confirmed, back of strength until you find your answer for sure.

better to be under feeding than over feeding, dumping additional nutrients without first confirming is detrimental.

here’s a tip when troubleshooting.

Ascertain what you know it Definately isn’t and there won’t be many left to work with after that and there could be something you already have with all the left over possible choices.
