ordering lady bugs!

I found 1500 Lady bugs on amazon.com for about 12bucks
is this a good deal?
what other bugs work well and won't munch on my plants?

I used to use this company when I had a bad aphid problem and highly recommend them.
Stopped using them cause I have no more aphid problems. I've heard they don't do shit for spider mites though...

they better be jumbos for 12 bucks...

praying mantis & green lacewings are also favorites of mine

dirtyho1968 they're not jumbo so i think ... but I'm pretty sure I'll populate my town with ladybugs with my ventilation running straight outside if i release them all in my box holy hell !!! no more aphids eating any of my lawn / garden.

you know chubbysoap i was looking ay praying mantises .. i may just catch a few this summer. would butterfly's do anything?


would worms be a good idea in plant pots to improve soil? I'd think in with the girls they'd get the munchies and eat more dirt? but they could be less productive I'm not sure?

Ladybugs can spread parasites. Buy screened bugs from places like Gardens Alive.

Thank you Viagro I did not know that, I'll pay a few extra bucks to ensure quality bugs.
