Seriously? You know that Bud Candy is awesome and you don't want to buy it? What kind of sense does that make?

Just use it already. It's awesome and you can use a bit less and still get awesome results. What you need to realize is that Bud Candy is used by growers a lot because it works.

And I'm just not convinced anyone can make their own recipe and still see the same results.

Honestly, I think you're just a lazy grower. I mean, if you can't spend ten minutes looking around Google for a recipe, are you really going to take the time it will take to make up your own nutes? And to make them the right way? LOL

I mean, I'm lazy too, don't get me wrong. Instead, I just buy nutes that do the work I need them to do. And then I can lay around and do nothing.....

Yeah man that's my favorite part. After the garden is tended I lay back. Chill and let my mind wander

Of course, three mgs of Xanax tends to help a little bit too I guess...they also make me hungry like a muthr fckr

I am lazy... I agree... but not on this issue.. I am a brand new grower.. my 1st crop and I am on a very TIGHT budget.... hence the reason I grow rather the want to buy from shops.. I know in many circumstances things are not as they seem.. so the ingredients in bud candy for all I know can be 100% made at home.. come on meow.. this is the age of the internet where as now a days we can even find out what The Colonel's secret flavor recipe of 11 herbs and spices are...

I dunno guess it was a wild shot

Two tablespoons sucnant sugar per gallon water. It is sold in bulk at any good grocery store. About $2 a pound here. Down the road if you have bud candy, you can use 1/2 sucnant, and 1/2 BC to extend both.

Thanks folks... did order some bud candy today.... did some more reading and it seems to be simple carbohydrates that plants can easily access

Nobody knows how to read an ingredients list or do a Google search before they go on posting about what they figure or heard something is? Seriously?

its not sugar but simple sugars/carbs and a basic BOOST to the plants growing cycle...
So, it isn't sugar...but simple sugar? Does that make very much sense?

Here's a hint: a-m-i-n-o acids.

meaning I would not go and dump a few cups of cane sugar in your potting soil... guessing it would not react well

Alright guys, the bottled nutes are just insanly overpriced mollasses. Its virtually the same thing.

Get Blackstrap Moll. and a bottle of low N fish emulsion. Mix tbl spoon of both in gallon of water during flowering and the buds explode. every once in awhile you add a tbl spn of epsom salt for the def from this during flower. Early on a add a 1/4 dosage of a strong flower fert then taper off toward end. Flushing is simple and buds come out sticky and lets just say perfect.

We all disagree at first then we try everything and find that only a few work for us and we stick to what does work.

Recommended products to add to your molasses (depending on application) include; Kelp, Fish Soulubles, Apple cider Vinegar, Compost or manure tea.
