right* sugar isnt for the plant, for the microbes in the tea or nutes ur using. Its basically like steriods for them, it makes em work harder. If ur using an organic tea or foliar spray or organic nutes you'll see a bigger payoff with the molasses than without or with synthetics. I can def tell the difference in the density of my buds. I grow all organic & my buds grown under cfls rival those of a friend of mine grown under hps! Almost everything i put on my plants is my own mixture, i rep for the molasses. It will draw pests which is why i only use it the last 2 or 3 weeks, but i normally dont have a pest "problem" It may be bc i only pour the sweet water right around the stem, then i add reg water or spray to moist the rest of the soil. You can also premix it & pour it into an aqua globe (or few depending on the size of the plant) You shouldnt have many problems with the sweet water being "contained". This is just a theory i have a bbbc on the 5th wk of flower now & i have a million aqua globes around in my house plants, i will comandeer one & let u know how it goes as far as pests. I rep for density tho.
