Yo.
Been awhile since i updated this shit but figured i might as well

A bits happened since Jan 18. Lemme bring yall up to speed.
First up is my veg tent:
Every 2 weeks i take clones and then i jus veg plants till they reach ~2ft tall.
You'll notice the 2 plants in blue buckets. Those 2 plants are my hempy bucket experiement. 1 is pure perlite and the other is a mix of perlite and soil.
The one in pure perlite isnt doin so well... It looks like it has succumbed to rot...
The hempy soil bucket is doin amazingly...I assume its because the plant has plenty of nutes from the soil to grow off of instead of some random mixture of nutes provided by me. Ill work out the kinks in time.
^^^ planted feb 2nd after rooting at 3".
Im considering switching all plants into those blue buckets. They fit really well in my grow, plus they're blue

They jus arent as "airy" as the 3 gal smart pots im using atm..
My flowering plants are coming along nicely. Ive got 3 sets of 4 plants flowering plus 1 extra. I had planned to have 5 sets of 4 plants spaced 2 weeks apart, but my plants may flower for 12 weeks, not 10. AND i can only fit 16 plants in my flowering area so far... Gotta find a way to squeeze 8 more in.
2 weeks in:
4 weeks in:
All is well thou except i think i got a little crazy with the epsom salts and caused some kind of lockout. What yall think?
Plants started to show a possible N or Mg deficiency (later comfirmed as Mg) and i fed them. What i fed them was roots grow mixed in ro water with cal mag, protekt, and epsom salts. I was using 1g/L of epsom salt. In hindsight, it was probably never needed. I was concerned there wouldnt be enugh mg from the cal/mg and didnt want more calcium, just more magnesium.
Luckily, since my flowering is perpetual in those groups, the damage is worse on the oldest plants, and never happened to the youngest. Process of elimination just tells me dont feed them and not to use epsoms at each watering.
Anyway, thats all for today.
Ill get more flowering pics up as the weeks progress and my jungle grows!
