i think that the buds are starting to swell. they are definetely starting to bulk up.
however... i found what looks like a seed in purple arrow.. ugh.
does this mean it's a hermaphodite? should this plant be removed from the room? this is freaking me out...
i need to do some research...

blueberry isn't getting better. the leaves look like a mag deficiency? that's what i'm assuming it is although i've been giving it plenty of mag.
the leaf tips near the tops of the colas are curling upward from the tips and turning a gold/bronze color.

i'll take some pictures of the rest - for the most part they look great. pics to follow...

Here are some more photos of the progress...
But please.. I need help. What should I do with the bud that has the seed ? :( Chop off that single budsite? Remove the whole plants from the room? Or leave it? I don't know what could have possibly caused it to grow a seed.. It hasn't ever shown any signs of stress!
And does anyone know what to do about the issue w/ Blueberry?
:wall:

Thanks everyone!

I do not see the seed in question

Are you referring to the swollen calyx?

You want those. They are empty cribs that provide more surface area for trics

If it is a seed, it's not going to affect the rest

As PetFlora said, don't stress about it, it's most likely just a swollen calyx.

Keep up the good work, and keep an eye on it. It'll end up being nothing of importance. =)

That is ^^^ a PHOSPHOROUS deficiency, leaves curling up/necrotic patches is a dead give away........ if your ph is between 6-7 then add more P

The white fuzz hasn't developed any further. humidity is sitting around 60%. temp around 75 with the lights on.
I just noticed on blueberry that some leaf tips or curling upward. i'm investigating and searching for what this could be... the edges seem a little 'spiky' too...

I believe it may be related to the Mg deficiency she's been struggling with, but I'm not sure.
This is right around the time that your problem started to get out of hand. You should have been drenching and heavy foliar of Epsom to reverse.
However I do want to say that the rest of the garden is very beautiful. Those are some pretty decent LED's bro. When you harvest, you will taste the difference that tea's and molasses make. I like to still flush organic before chopping to help remove chloro and phosphorus. Slow dry, and 60 day cure..........Im jelious

Things are looking good and smelling nicely. The buds are really starting to take shape! It's now been 42 days since the lights were switched to 12/12.

I'm reading up on harvesting because I know it's right around the corner :) I haven't seen any orange trichomes yet, but lots of pistils are starting to turn orange instead of white. I'm excited but nervous about harvesting - it's all new to me.

I think Maple Leaf will be the first one ready. Its flowering time is listed as 45-50 days and it looks the most mature out of the whole tent. I have a 40x loupe and 60x magnifier and the damn things are so hard to keep still when I'm hovering over the plants to check the trichomes.

Anyways... Blueberry hasn't gotten much worse. I laid off on the nutes and i think it helped - I've been feeding near full dosage of the G.O. nutrients at every watering so I decided to water once with plain water and molasses. I'm going to just let it do it's thing and feed as normal next watering. I was worried about Purple Arrow turning hermi so I decided to relocate it. It's out of the tent now, but it was so small and in the corner that it was sorta overshadowed anyways.

Here are some recent pics from yesterday...

Where'd you guys go?
A little update here....

In the 7th week now, things are going strong :)
Plumping up and almost ready to go!
Maple Leaf will be coming down any day now. Not the world's largest buds, but they are so sugary and smell super dank. I'm happy!

Two nights ago I harvested one cola on Maple Leaf just to test her out.

After trimming it up, I placed it in the drying room (67 degrees, 57% humidity, dark). I wanted to test it out sooner, so I put a small piece in an envelope and placed it on top of my router for a day. It dried out enough but sorta crispy. Didn't really smell all that good, but I've read that it should come out more once it's properly cured. So I grinded this little piece and just got done smoking it out of the volcano vape.

Holy shit - it did the trick!!
:hump::hump::hump::hump:
I'm incredibly happy now - the shit's going to be good!!!! Very relaxing - makes my mind wander. It's taken me so damn long to type this update....

I'll give her 1 more day, then I'm going to chop the rest of her. :)
Everything else is shaping up nicely. Approaching the 8th week!!!

Maple Leaf Indica came down a couple nights ago.
They're in the drying room and then they'll be curing after i cut the buds off the stems.
I got about a 1/2 gallon Ziploc bag full of sugary fluff bud/trim too.
Not a very impressive yield bud I don't care! The other strains that are almost done in the flowering tent are going to be MUCH nicer/bigger :)

Now that I know how these plants grow, my next grow is going to be more manageable and overall better! I've learned so much in my first grow.

Here's the final update. All of the plants have been harvested, dried, and are now in the curing process.
Overall, I am VERY happy with the results. But most of all - the quality. This is some of the most potent, stickiest, tastiest, and smelliest bud I've ever had. Growing your own is really where it's at!

Final Numbers (dried):
Maple Leaf: 28 grams
Girl Scout Cookies: 166 grams
Mendo Afgoo: 19 grams
Blueberry: 30 grams
Cheese: 32 grams

Grand Total (dried): 275 grams (9.7 ounces)

Final Photos:

THANK YOU to all that have helped me out along the way!!!
