I ordered some jack herer from doc chronic this morning. Ive ordered seeds from them twice, both times they got here within the same week of ordering (and Im in California) and Ive never had a seed that didnt germ. So Im looking foward to the jack herer. Maby start another thread since this is more a multistrain perpetual than an sog grow.

picked up several new strains: chocolate chunk, grape ape, romulan,LA confidential, g13xhaze, green crack,hindu skunk, and bluedream. All of the strains except the blue dream were taken from my caretakers back yard. He's got about 30+ huge bushes alot of them are around 5 ft tall and 6-10 ft wide. And thats just one of his orchards. And all Im getting is a measily 3 lbs.

Yeah that was the first time I had seen anything like that. He came out to my house around the beginning of the season and planted these hurt ass plants in my backyard. I hooked him up with 4 plants just because I felt a little sorry for him and had huge doubts about his growing prowess even though he told me what his plants look like. I had to remove the 12 plants from my yard because the landlord was contacted and said no marijuana. But this guy knows what he's doing for sure as he mentioned this season he wants to pull 1M. Its wierd too because he LST's all of his plants. Thier all pinned to the ground.

why is that weird? sounds like he knows whats up (a lot of work though), but i think he's gunna need more that a few of 30 plant orchards to pull 1M ! always shoot for the stars though right?

anyhow, ur stoked on all the new strains, i keep hearing that green crack is just Mango (previous can. cup winner) renamed. I grew all mango for a few runs like six years ago and it was a good yielder of great quality... hope its the same stuff or better.
bluedream is always a popular one for sure!

Yeah LST'ing appears to be what hes doing all the branches are on the ground and the plant is in a circle. Pretty nice work for sure. Never seen plants tied down like that. I kind of get how it works but its still a mystery.

Yeah how those damn things got so big in this heat out here in sac valley is another question. My guide says plants stop growing around 90 F. Temps out here have been in the 100'ds. Yet these things get huge. And my care taker was just saying how he's registered with the state of CA to operate these large grows. Im not sure what that entails but he supplies clubs in so cal.

The chronic has once again gotten my seeds to my door in 4 days or less. Ive never had a problem with any of the seeds I bought from there not germinating. Took the fattest five seeds and have them in a shot glass of 6.0 water being imbibed.
The thing is is that with the jack herer now Ive got 12 strains to grow 9 of which I dont even know what they produce. As I said before Im thinking of starting a new journal since Ive got more of a multistrain perpetual going on. I'll still update this thread with more whiteberry info and pictures and how my other whiteberry seeds do. Im not putting anymore seedlings into my clone/seedling area until I deep clean it, fog it for pests and make it sanitary. My practice seeds are still green and small and theyre about a week from seed. I should have waited to see what they would do but I germed 5 jack seeds anyway. Anyone know what is the best way to sterilize a grow area without fucked up residues and stuff left behind by cleaners like bleach?

It's not speciffically about grow spaces, but... I cleaned 'clean rooms' (the places where they make micro chips and pharmaceuticals and shit). We used this special disinfectant stuff for the walls, but on all the equipment we just used 70% Isopropal Alcohol. It evaporates clean and kills most stuff.

The best idea would be to clean the whole damn thing 3 times. Just sloppy the first, better the second, and meticulous the 3rd. If you do that, anything that's left would be there no matter what.

Also, when cleaning with a spray bottle it's better to spray your wipes or cloth rater than what you are cleaning, because if you spay what you are cleaning water can get into tiny openings the rags/ wipes cant get to.

a spray bottle with 10% hyrodgen peroxide .i personally like pine sol or somethin or at least a good wipe down.clean the glass on the light.

bleach is worth the hassle.
bleach than plain water than plain water again.
i use alcohol for the reflectors and other metal surfaces.

edit: when theres high humidity your plants will stretch, and when there is low light levels they will stretch more

nice plants man btw

wish i could be near you to have a taste test

Still organic soil. Im goin out again to the caretakers to pick up 4 more different strains so 17 strains in all. Dont really have a plan of attack as to how I'll be facilitating all of those plants. I think I'll take one clone from each strain, since I have multiples of them and put them in 12/12 and see what genetics I got. Then cull out the least desirable ones and keep all the chronic strains that should leave me with a few mothers that will work in my veg area.

try buying 8 inch sqare containers that are 2 gallon. i do 16 ina 3ft by 3 ft closet then my garage is much bigger,i can and am goin to do around 20 under 1 6oo can do probably 25 easy ina 4 x 4 ft area.
