Organic's effects on a friend that finally listened..

Many of us are guilty on this one! I wish that I would have listened to you sooner
man... all I had for information back in the day was an illicit book on illegal drugs, circa 1970s, it was so old it referred to the "new" type of marijuana.... sinsemilla...
I didn't have a "good" grow for the first 5-6 runs, over the course of 4-5- yrs, I was around 17 when I had my first good run, grown with a non-remote, magnetic 400w mh ballast, the damn lamp literally weighed 50 lbs, hung that sumbitch from my closet rafter, hole-sawed a hole in the ceiling (carefully keeping the part that was cut out... I was renting) for the "bathroom" fan to pull the air .. that thing put out some HEAT..
FINALLY grew some worthwhile herb though.. northern lights #5, skunk #1, and some good bagseed.
-note- I doubt either of those were the REAL nl#5 or skunk #1... but it was GREAT shit compared to the brick, and 60 dollar, 3 gram "eighths"
Point is, you are WAY ahead of where I was, so don't beat yourself up man, you are doing great, I've seen your pics

I always enjoy your stories! Looks like you were growing weed before you could legally drive a car lol...
I am confused, do you own the shop that you work at??? I saw your old avatar and just thought that you found the pic online...

yea, it's a partnership, so a 50/50 split, but that "greasemonkey" picture was just a picture.
It must be an express LOF business or something.
Jiffy lube, oil can henrys, etc.
Soquel Auto Repair is our name

I was trying to get a management position at Firestone when the VA found me unemployable... I understand why you are always at work now!

Man, that is some cool shit!!! Most people only sit around and talk about doing the things that you do! Plus, you live in a very cool spot also

Edit: Hell, you are living my dream pretty much... Do you have an alignment machine?
nah, no alignments.
No room for one, got four lifts in two bays, two smog machines.
Truth is, i'll probably retire from wrenching pretty soon, all I need are a couple more phenotypes and i'm golden.
Gonne re-start my delivery service.
All you need is 20 good consistent (heavy daily smokers) customers and a good driver.
I just gotta stop buying more seeds..

It is hard when EVERY plant is different lol... I dont blame you for wanting to retire wrenching, it really is not that fun unless it is for hobby or such...
just REALLY hard on your body, wrists, fingers, forearms, shoulders...
Not to mention the stigma that follows the industry.. and for good reason... just the other day a customer showed me his receipt for a timing belt job he had done in Oklahoma, apparently his jeep broke down on the way to NY, anyways....
We cracked it open cuz he had a cam seal leaking, and his timing belt was the original belt.. some asshole charged him 600 bucks to replace it...
wasn't replaced....
So people like that is why everyone hates automechanics...
Same shit I gotta deal with being single... all the single women have been fucked over by single guys to where they don't trust anyone anymore...

That and EVERYONE is pissed when their car fails smog...
NOBODY is pissed when I deliver my organic, tasty goodness... Quite the opposite...
