I'm trying out an coco coots mix now so I'll let you know how it goes. I'd learn organics first over coco. Coco with synthetic nutrients and coco with organics is going to be totally different.
Get a shovel and get some real dirt in that mixWas looking back at older posts and found this again. I got my grow setup now, if you want to check it out I will link it right here.

Right now I’m using Gold Royal Tupur (coco coir aged forest materials, perlite, and basalt)
Nutrients:
Hydro Organics Green reign all purpose 5-5-5
Hydro organics Verde Fire Bloom 0-9-3
I mixed the medium with 75% 5-5-5, 25% 0-9-3
Transplanted seedlings in solo cup with it.
I still have the container of ammended medium, I wanted to ask what other amendments you guys would recommend for me to use.
Im thinking of grabbing some EWC, bat guano, alfalfa meal and kelp meal.
Happy growing

Sounds like a really nice mix. How far into the grow do you have to start top dressing? or does it feed throughout the whole grow?I am growing in : 50% Turpur, 25 % worm castings, 25 % Ocean Forest, and a dry mix of Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal, Fish Bone Meal, Azomite, Oyster Shell Meal, Humics, Bat Guano. I like the ease of it. Plants get rootbound much faster though, as they got the oxygen and food they need. I second those who mentioned the Ca and Mg issues. My first grow in it had that same problem. Once I added the Oyster Shell, and top dress with Epsom Salt every once in awhile, I havent had the issue since.
