I'm a landscaper and we had a customer with deer walking right up to the house, eating all of their flowers. We finally found a product called Milorganite, a dry fertilizer derived partially from human waste. We use about two scatterboxes full to treat over an acre. As long as it is put down at least once a month it seems to keep everything away. For rabbits, if you don't want a bunch of marigolds planted around your crop, ask your local barber for hair clippings, they won't come near it.
