i was looking around for led lghts at a local hydro shop and came across this.. its 100 bucks for this one bulb and it fits into standard light sockets.. website says its a good comparison to a 400w HPS system(doubt it) but.. im gonna pick this up once i get some money saved, this will give the cab a great spectrum..

update on becky.. shes 7 weeks into flowering and her buds are starting to get nice and plump, its hard to see in pics but looks like shes gonna have a decent cola growing in soon.. i really think the molasses helps out but who knows..its starting to smell really good when i open the pc box..,im about to transplant the babies..update later tonight!!:lol:

Just transplanted the babies into 8 in. Pots.. The roots were all over the place in the party cups so hopefully they blow up due to more soil space
 
View attachment 1432268i just found this thread and i just decided that i would subscribe seeing that i have 1 baby of GDP that i planted a week after yours but i have mine in a 5 gal hydro set up.... I was reading some of your earlier posts and you were saying that you dont know why you are slacking and dont go get a hydro set up...I recommend you do cause like i said my little one is at 7 days right now and it looks to be just about the size of the two that you have going.... if you cant get the hydro jsut do the transplant..other than that everything looks like it is going great and and i am subbed to see it happen. P.S. here is a pic of mine at DAY 7

Yeah man hydro def seems to be a bit more rapid than soil.. How many cfls are you using?? Thanks for subbin in bro. +rep
 
they are Still looking tasty lee! I wonder if there is any accurate numbers on hydro vs soil? Like its 20% faster than soil or something like that. Seems like alot of hassle for a non distributor lol. But like twice as fast would be worth it

Yeah im gonna stick to soil for now.,ill get around to trying hydro soon enough. Thanks brotha
 
FEB 9th....alright heres a couple pics of the ladies.. took these pics this morning before and after the transplant into 8" pots..also added another 26w 2700.. gonna switch it with a 65k tommorow.. coming along :]

yeah everything looks great and this will be a fun thread to stay tooned into... We can almost have a race. But any ways i cant wait for tomorrows update!!!
 
OHHHH YEA i am running 6 cfl 26w 6500k about two inch above her head and she is the only on it there soakin alll that shit up!!
 
alright the babies look good since there transplant yesterday., cant wait to get another light fixture in there!., been giving them bottled spring water and the seem to be very healthy and green.. these babies are at 2 weeks and 2 days right now... black pot is blackberry white pot is bubba kush

Both are looking really good, do you plan to keep them in 8 inch pots or move up another size once they get bigger?
 
hey man everthing is looking good i think this is going to be a nice race between me and you lol... here is a pic of my one baby at 1 week and 1 day. Can anyone also tell me why those leaves are starting to curl up a little bit002.jpg
