a cup of water in deed is the best way fill the cup uphalf way and seperate strains with different cups . just drop the seeds right into the water and cover the cup with another cup or somthing to keep the light out set it in a warm place in your house like on top of your fridge. wait a few days and cheak on them and plant it when it pops ive had seeds germinate in 2 days.

well when seeds are germinated they have a better chance atliving, and then you know for sure that the seed will grow as long as you and your tools are clean the seeds shouldnt be infected. seeds will grow faster if germinated and as far as i can tell i seem to get alot of females. seeds should be planted 3/4 inch down waterd gentle. and should sprout within a few days

thats the reason i put them straight into soil. i dont have to risk infecting it
also i hate germinating
its a seed like any other plant so why not just stick it in the soil like any other plant
ive never had a problem with it
ive had more problems germinating

I know this will sound very stupid, but ive been told contradicting facts. When you germinate do you put it with the sprout goin up or down? Is the sprout a root or a stem? I know this is probably the stupidist post on the website but i had to ask.

i just put them in there any which way. they always find the right direction to grow.

im not sure but i dont think they have a better chance at living when you germinate the seeds. Its just a means to know whether the seed is good or a dud before you put it in the soil and waste a week only to find out its a dud.

Paper towel method is the Best IMO if you have patience and let the tap root get about an inch long. Then drop that in the dirt... 2 days sprout almost every time. If you just drop them in the dirt the germ rate is lower and ..you have no idea when those bitches are coming out the dirt..lol

The main reason a lot of people have problems when they use the paper towel method is that they use too much water and end up drowning the seeds lol.:joint:
