I am upgrading the lighting in my boat to LED's . I have several 12v Edison style, medium base bulbs that need to go. In searching Amazon I find a few bulbs that claim to be as bright as a 60w incandescent at 9w but are rated at 12v-24V. I am guessing that the lumen rating maybe based off the 24V . Would the bulb be as bright at 12v as it is at 24v ?
There are a couple reviews that advise purchasing a bulb rated at 12v only ----suggesting the 12v-24v bulbs are not very bright at 12v - does this sound correct ?
