Mornin' all,
As some of you may have noticed in the eastern U.S., it's really fucking cold and snowy. Yet 2 winters ago in these very same regions, there was no winter. Areas that will struggle to reach 10F next week were near 80 degrees in 2012.
And the rest of the planet during the winter of 2013-14?...above normal. The coldest average below temp on the globe last month occurred in the U.P of Michigan, while Greenland experienced the warmest above their average.
What does this mean for the U.S?, unfortunately bad news from the Appalachian chain to the Pacific that is driving this insane weather...which is also responsible for the ongoing drought in the west. Ocean temperatures take several years to adjust themselves, and we have only been in this weather pattern for a year.
So, if you plan on growing outdoors this summer...plan on a repeat of 2013.
